My husband and I are seniors on fixed income, and we were shocked that Snapping Shoals EMC would increase our electric bill by over $100 a month without prior notice. If we had known this was going to happen, we would have made arrangements to change providers.

The increase definitely puts a strain on our budget. Something should be done to stop this kind ripoff in the future.
