Southern Merchant Services Steven Carter The worst face of the merchant credit card industry NY Endicott

This company promised a bonus, a salary, and a commission stream for providing viable businesses seeking a new merchant services program. My employment status as a 1099 contractor was in continual jeopardy with constant badgering, and threats of nonpayment. I was never given any written terms of my promised pay and bonus or any timeframe when I would be paid. I was lied to about my entire compensation package. What is worse is that I actually trusted Steven Carter.

The main crux of this report is to expose an individual who tried to illegally and fraudulently enroll my merchant clients without their written consent. After turning in merchant applications to Mr. Carter he stated that the merchant was approved and enrolled.

When following up with my clients all of them stated to never received any E-sign, Docusign or contract. When my clients confronted Mr. Carter they were treated rudely and threatened with egregious fees if they refused to begin processing with Southern Merchant Services. The merchant service industry is filled with both scrupulous and unscrupulous actors.

Southern Merchant Services puts a very bad face upon this industry.
