Will not guarantee his workmanship. Paid $9575.00 for sod, mulch and river rock He promised a receipt.  Never gave one. Verbally stated that he would warranty his work. Stated that he would guarantee the sod and REPLACE ANY THAT FAILED.

He said he is not responsibile for the sod failure. I asked many times for a written warranty.  he never provided one. Never provided a copy of licensing or insurance.  Requested many times. Promised weed control.  Never provided it.

Promised fertilizer.  Never provided it. Did not do yard clean up after installation. Did not take away pallets that sod was delivered on. Installed the sod on one of the hottest days of the year July 28. Bad time for installation.

He said I have bad soil and not watered properly. He never  did proper soil preparation. The irrigation is maintained and serviced by a top professional irrigation specialist for this area of the country and is set for optimal performance and grass viability.

The grass has mole crickets and grubs. His suppliers provided bad sod. I finally got him to admit that there was a problem with the sod. He said that he needed to contact his supplier and be reimbursed by him first before he could take care of me.

I told him that was his problem with the supplier. I told him i need the sod to be taken care of regardless of what happens between him and his supplier.  He never did. He did not even offer to do treatment for the mole crickets and grubs.

It is less than a year since installation and 90% of the grass is dead. He is in Saluda, SC which is 35 miles from Aiken, SC. He refuses to travel that distance to take care of problems.

In his response to my complaint to SC Department of Consumer Affairs he stated. "I’ve done what I agreed to do (Liar.  Did not do as promised). Will not be going back to do anymore for free (Warranty work should be free), not my fault that the work I did wasn’t maintained properly (Liar. Properly maintained and irrigated.)."
