brian meckel and dan fitzgerald are complet ripoff artist. we hired them in the fall of 2020 to build our backyard paradise. They promised that it would all be done in the spring of 2021. It was not completed by stone edge as i guess from what we learned is they have ripped off several sub contractors (they do not do any work themselves its all sub contracted to other companies). They kept telling us they would have our pool done but becuase of covid the plaster crew was backed up and we would be lucky to get it done by fall of 2021.

Well calling the pool laster company they suppsedly use, that company told us that they do not want to work for stone edge because they do not pay thier bills. I called Brian Meckels and he said this is not true. i asked then why can we not get our pool plastered then as that company said they could do it in a couple weeks if we paid the pool plaster comapny directly. we would have paid the pool plaster comapny directly but we already paid Brian meckles and stone edge all of the contract money and they were suppsoed to pay the plaster company.

I asked Brian for our money back and we could pay the plaster company directly. He blew up and started swearing at me on the phone saying that we are now tryng to rip him off. He literally hung up on me several times, I had to keep calling back. He refused to give us any money back to pay the plaster contractor that he was suppsed to pay. Anyway we are out thousdands of dollors and our pool is still not finished. Obvioulsy we are in litigation after these scumbags.

I would run if they want to build you a pool. Do not hire these idiots, you will be sorry. Also after speaking to several other pool companies, everyone of them told us they are know in the industry as really bad quaility pools and they owe several other pool companies money as well. I am just hoping we can get some money back before they go out of business so we can finsh the pool and use it next spring.
