Studio 154 Nashville No Refunds For COVID-19 Nashville TN

We booked online through Studio 154’s website on 12/6/19 for a reservation in September 2020 before anyone had even heard of COVID-19. We contacted them to cancel the reservation on 7/8/20 due to trying to limit non-essential travel. We were told they were enforcing their cancellation policy of charging 1/2 of the amount paid which was the room charged paid in full for all nights booked.

We explain to the manager Jamie Walicki through numerous emails that we had booked before anyone knew of COVID-19 and we were canceling over 90 days out. She refused to issue more than 1/2 of what had been paid. My sister also booked in December 2019 through an online 3rd party and was given till 8/28/20 to cancel and receive a full refund, when I emailed management about this they replied 3rd party bookers can offer different refund policies(better) than the hotel themselves.

At a time like this one would think there would be more understanding but understanding nor customer service exist at Studio 154 based on my experience.
