This "operation" uses deceptive practices to it's customers in order to illicit as much "bang for its buck." If you pay cash (which one is doubtful they properly report to tax authorities), they provide you with the opportunity to pay the price they quote on their menus and marketing materials. But if you GOD FORBID pay by any other means including by credit card, they surreptitiously hike your bill without letting you know.

Not only do they not make customers aware of this practice in advance of their entrance to the establishment, but several friends and colleagues have asked the manager of the establishment whether this is the operation's practice, and he has flat out denied it.

There have also been reports of very rude misconduct on the part of that same manager extending well beyond his fervent denial of the aforementioned fraudulent billing practices. Customers deserve to know the truth. It's important that the coalition of disgruntled customers of this establishment that is being assembled in short order, are afforded the platform they deserve to voice their concerns.

THIS has got to STOP

Management Should Be Transparent In Their Rebuttal

AUTHOR: Nick - (United States)

POSTED: Friday, March 04, 2022

While I appreciate your rebuttal, you ought to be transparent in identifying yourself as an employee/manager or executive of Swig & Swine, the establishment in question. Otherwise, this simply continues demonstrating the pattern of deceit and fraud this operation seems to be addicted to carrying on....

I went to the menu on their site and in about 10 seconds I found their disclaimer about the credit card fee.

"Prices listed are for cash transaction, credit card fee is 3.75%"

By the way, you made a comment that if you pay by any other means than cash. What other means other than a Credit Card do you expect to pay by? Stones? Shells?  Your firstborn?  Baseball cards?
