Teri Kahila Teri P. Kahila Slumlord Wrongfully Stole Security Deposit; Gave Us Grief in Delays with Repairs She Was Responsible For Lighthouse Point Florida

We were tenants in condominium apartment 1 (until recently), owned by this individual at (((REDACTED))). in Lighthouse Point, FL.  This landlord gave us grief in making us wait on much needed repairs she was responsible for (i.e., months for repair of air conditioning during a hot South Florida summer), having us endure faulty plumbing (toilets not flushing properly), algae build up in the air conditioning and constant black mold buildup in one of the bathrooms.

She ignored potentially dangerous electrical problems in the condo which she was fully aware of.  To top everything off, she refused to rightfully return our security deposit when we moved out. We were informed she has also reportedly denied other past tenants their security deposits as well.  TENANTS and BUYERS, BEWARE of this slumlord. She has been a resident of Spring, TX for the past several years and is also a realtor by trade. 

She is looking to return to Lighthouse Point, FL and this should serve as a warning to anyone residing in either TX or FL to stay clear of her.  She is a reckless and irresponsible property owner and also has significant emotional issues.  As far as her character, she will appear to be a normal, reasonable person when one first meets her, but this is actually far from the truth.  She is neurotic, scheming and manipulative. 

Anyone coming across this individual should avoid all dealings with her whatsoever.
