Attn: Consumers beware if you are looking for TAP Total Auto-Protect to pay your claim when you file for repairs on your vehicle just know they are going to do their best to get out of paying for any repairs on 12/08/2021 I purchased a warranty from total auto protect with the assumption they would honor their warranty for covered repairs all in when I spent $2241.00 for warranty coverage that the company has refused to pay claims requested by the repair shop when it was time to get my vehicle fixed the primary reason why consumers purchase an extended warranty is to get those expensive repairs covered when needed as of 01/31/2023 I took my car to the repair facility for covered repairs and they have been dodging the repair facility and evading my phone calla as well I filled out the claim forms they stated that none of the the repairs were covered however I have been ripped off by this company for over 2200 dollars they were not able to assist with a rental nor repairs I advised the customer service agent that has stalled me for three days to make some sort of reslution by I got the run arround I will be looking in to taking legal action if trhe matter is not resolved I will also be reaching out to my financial insutution for a full rtefund as well for unsed services its a shame when companies like this ripp you off and they feel like they are winning because when you need the service theyu never honor what is stated in the contract with the legal loop hoplke of scams to take advantage of the hard workin g consumers who take out the warranties for protection that is never provided not to mention they dont have a problem with taking your money when they are scamming you in the presence of a smile of a salesman trainined to scam conaumers DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PROFESSIONL CROOKS they have scamed thousans of consumers and fail to honor there end of the contract what is the purpose of an extended warranty when the paper is written on is a fluke this company is an out right scam.

Re Waiting My Refund that was agreed to

As of 02/09/2023, I am waiting on a refund from Total Auto Protect I spoke with several people today I was advised that If I took the review down that I would be refunded I advised them that if they followed instructions and honored what was in the contract I would receive a full refund HMM I still have yet to review the refund in my bank nor updates on when the check would be mailed I signed the affidavit they sent, however, I have not slandered this company if you fail to honor what you initially put in writing that's not slander that is a breach in the contract not to mention my car sat in the repair shop for an entire week at the end of the day this has cost me more money than I bargained for is it fair the consumer NO absolutely, not I will keep everyone informed on the outcome of this matter is tired of the runaround in trying to work something out but when I keep getting the stories I'm going to do what's necessary to get results they can honor what they stated to me im tired of going back and fourth with this matter as I have advised ill update the outcome when I recive my money back froom this company regardless to what was signed I agreed to let the public know when they have made good on their end of the bargan at the end of the day I am the CONSUMER
