Van Ost Tile AKA Tile Masters USA AKA Jeremy Van Ost bid to do work at my home.  According to multiple members of his family, Jeremy Van Ost is developmentally disabled and can't read, but neither he nor his business partner ever disclosed that to me before or during the project at my home.  

Due to his extreme careless and misrepresenting his abilities to me, Jeremy Van Ost ruined two very expensive marble vanity tops because he decided to use the wrong adhesive to set the counter tops.  The warning label on the adhesive plainly said not to use this product on marble, and the installation instructions for the vanities specifically said another product to use.  When confronted about this, Jeremy Van Ost's excuse was that some guy at Home Depot said it would probably be okay to use.

To make matters worse, rather than take responsibility for his actions, Jeremy Van Ost used his family - a bunch of bottom-feeding lawyers - to bring bogus - but expensive and time consuming - lawsuits against me when I rightfully withheld payment due to the irreparable damage Van Ost caused to the marble vanity tops.  

Eventually, my insurance company and I decided to just pay to get rid of these scumbags and their bogus lawsuits, even though a small claims judge ruled that Jeremy Van Ost had wrecked the vanities and I didn't owe him anything.  

Jeremy Van Ost is not a licensed contractor, he carries no insurance, and he is not bonded.

Avoid Jeremy Van Ost all costs!
