I was trying to make a monthly payment to my cellphone service (ATT) and a link to this website appeared.  When I followed the link to Veterans Advange it offered discounted phone service package for active duty and military veterans. It seemed to offer the same service package I had subscribed to for a much lower monthly price. Since I was just about to make a monthly payment on my phone service I quickly decided to give these guys a try.  When I did not receive a confirmation by email I got suspicious and checked my ATT account to see if they were processing any changes.  Since no changes were made to my cellphone account I realized that Veterans Advantage probably did not have a business connection to ATT.  A more thorough review of the Veterans Advantage website indicated that they suggested that they could provide discounts for hotel, rental cars, airlines and many other types of discounts but closer review they do not provide details such as how to redeem discounts or how their discount program actually worked.  My suspicions grew when I noticed that the Veterans Advantage website they do not list a physical address, email or text information.  When I called their customer service line (866) 838-2778 I was put on hold and never received a callback.  Having had similiar experiences before with other scam companies before.  I realized that they would delay contacting me just to rack up charges on my credit card.  Prospective customers should be warned to read the website for details before providing any information to this company.  They will ask for you SS number "in order to verify" your qualifications, which is a crock.  If you end up giving them a credit card number for any purchase they will avoid calling you back until they have racked up some charges on your card.  Best to just stay away from these guys.
