I was hired to work a position at a new restaurant in the casino when weeks pass by I found out that the restaurant was never going to be open. And then we asked the food and beverage manager if she ever worked as a chef, she said she had no food experience and her friend, the Director of the casino. We're not gonna open it and then we were forced to work at a small little restaurant in the casino That I did not sign up for. Slowly became miserable to work there as some other menu items to not make sense I brought it to her attention. She became hostile to some of us. I would come up with some idea and she would reject it. People were scared to say anything. As a result she would terminate anybody who would challenge it. Their understanding would be in the response has always been. You are working on a sovereign land, and we can fire you whenever we want and however we want. I was terminated with a list of things that she said I did no idea where she was getting this from, but I had no power over it as a result her friend, the Director of the casino, and the human resource lady are all friends, and they terminated me on hearsay. I am reporting this casino on the "Yuma" County cocoa, pop, reservation, sovereign land. Not for anything to gain for myself but to protect those who can't protect them subs please understand that we don't have a choice than to work through these jobs to pay very low minimum wage to the people. People are scared to lose their jobs but I not. Thank you
