Los Angeles, CaliforniaThis company is a total rip-off. Yes, something has to be done, to keep other parents from being deceived. They pretedn to be a legitimate company but they are far from being a true casting company. I too have been riped off. They have a complete skit that happens, and they keep all the parents separated, so no one can talk to each other after signing up.
They claim that they have been in business for so many years, but they do not have a clue of what they are doing. All the casting forms in their waiting room are dated from 1990-1999. There are a few in the 2000's. The owner Carl Carranza knows how to talk to parents,and how to intimidate parents. His staff also knows the routine, and they pretend that this is a one in a lifetime deal.
All of us need to get together, please and do something ,before other hard working parents are also scammed.
Please check him out on the BBB, as he pretends that is also a lie. He lies to you - please let all your friends know his scam.

well,i have been working for Carl carranza for many years. It is very defficult when we were orderd to misleading the information so that cutomer will willing to sign the contract. of course to keep our job we had to do what we have to do. sometime i was just hoping that i will have a new career but it 's hard to actaully walk out.onece i did told him i had enough of this he offered me bigger salary with benefit.
now i am officially quit so for people who want more information about Flashcast kids , of how i was told to do. feel free to contact me anytime i 'm willing to testified!
P.S. to Carl i hope you'll get your ass kick this time i have evidence!!!!!!!!!! your truly exemployee :)

Hi Sean,
I hope you can contact me regarding the jerk Carl Carranza. I will be taking him to small claims court and was wondering if you could be of any assistance to me. Carl has ripped off one too many parents and if its the last thing I ever do, then i want it to be putting flashcast down in the ground where they belong. I have been in contact with the city attorney Mr. Mark Lambert who tried the case against Carl. I have a copy of the judgment against Carl/Flashcast. With flashcast being on probation, i am stunned at the shit they are still pulling.
SEAN! I HOPE YOU WILL RESPOND TO THIS AND HELP ME OUT...ANY OTHER PARENTS WHO HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF, LETS GET TOGETHER AND PUT AN END TO THIS CREEP!

Flashcast is a scam
I worked for Flashcast almost ten years ago and I'm shocked by the fact that they are still in business. We were told to lie to potential clients and when they were called back because their child was 'cute' (ALL WERE CALLED BACK!), the head 'Casting Director' would tell the parents that they were auditioning for Huggies, Pampers, and other well-known companies even though they were not. They named off almost the same companies to parents at every audition and there were four auditions a week. No child (member) got a job during the three months I worked there and only a few went on auditions. We were told to tell parents that we were members of the BBB. Carl likes to sue people who attempt to expose him.
I went to work for another company in the building and Carl hired a private investigator to act as though she was a parent (she had a stroller with no child) and wanted to get information about Flashcaast. After being followed by this woman all morning I decided to have some fun with Carl and tell her exactly what Flashcast was about. Carl then sued me and several individuals as well as companies in the building for emotional distress, slander and some other crap. I won when I told his lawyer, Neville Johnson, that I couldn't wait to go to trial and expose Carl. Sue me again Carl. That was fun.

I agree - They are a complete ripoff!
From seeing all the responses regarding Carl and Flashcast(not to metion my personal experiences with them), there may be only one solution... Additional legal action against them. If the persons with the complaints / reports against them still want to persue action against Flashcast and Carl Carranza, please respond to this report.

Question to Kailee
I too had the same problem with Carl Carranza / Flashcast. I noticed that you sued for your refund. I too will need to do the same. What was the outcome in your case?
