A while back I ordered from them. Here is how it goes.

I pick my stuff and order. I choose to send in a cheque by mail which was one of their options. Later during the day I receive a call from them stating that if I send the cheque there will be a huge delay of at least 22 business days in my order. I did not want this delay so I asked them what to do. (the cheque had already been sent)

They told me to send in a paypal payment (I did not know they accepted paypal until the guy offered it to us) He simply told me to make sure that the order number was on the payment and that once they received the cheque it would be destroyed. I sent in the paypal payment with the order number and included the note to make sure they would destroy the cheque.

Also according to their policy it will take a maximum of 19 business days to have my order in my hands (receive) it.

I waited a while and later saw they had accepted my Paypal payment and also cashed my cheque. I was furious so I told them to reimburse for my cheque. Instead they returned my paypal payment (LESS A FEE) which they say is non refundable.

On business day 16 I knew I would not receive I order in time since they hadn't even received all the items yet, and it would take at least 4 days for me to receive my order from them (once they would have shipped them). I asked for my deposit as I really did not like my experience with them especially with their tardiness and lies about shipment of items. Their policy states 19 days max so if I would have been an honest business owner I would gladly refund the money due to lack of time.

Instead they cancelled our order and gave us a credit note (I DID NOT WANT A CREDIT NOTE BECAUSE I DID NOT WANT TO ORDER FROM THEM EVER AGAIN!) They told us if we made trouble with paypal and our bank they would put our name and address in their forum for everyone to see that I frauded them. When they frauded me. I made a complaint with paypal but since the initial payment was by cheque and had nothing to do with them they could not force canadian paintball.com to do anything.

I later made a complaint with the better business bureau which as usual they didn't do nothing. While I was making the complaint Canadianpaintball.com Lied about many facts and made it look like I was trying to fraud them. I am posting this on here because I hope people before they purchase from that scam company they will think twice. In order not to lose over 300 dollars I had no choice but to use my credit note. The gun when and if I receive it I will have no choice but to resell it. I ordered it last week and I still have 0 emails from them telling me when I will receive it. Nor do I have any shipping information.

WHAT A RIP OFF!

Note: when I refer to gun it is a Paintball gun. A device used to shoot paintballs (target practice or kids play).

- all orders paid with personal checks are held for 30 days simply to eliminate checks bouncing. (example this happened today to us out $200.00)*

- back in 2005 a maximum timeframe "some" orders could take were 19 business days, however this has now been revised to 7-10 business days quoted to everyone. *

- we immediately refunded the Paypal purchase less the Paypal fee as was the policy back in 2005. Now that Paypal does things differently, when a customer gets a refund, we get the fee back. Nothing we could do about that in 2005.

- as 30 days had not passed yet, we were not prepared to do anything with a check that still had the chance to bounce or be stopped. We were being honest by presenting our policies for everyone to see/read. *

- Other than Visa or Mastercard, we do not offer refunds. All sales are final.*

- the customer filed a fraud complaint with Paypal for $300.00 (tying up $300.00 of our money in our Paypal account) AFTER we had refunded him his money. Only after threating Paypal with a lawsuit by meddling with a transaction they didn't handle, they dropped the complaint. Our money was tied up for almost 2 weeks and we lost one notch on our Paypal Reliability report over a FALSE CLAIM.

"When they frauded me."

- false and libelous. Customer got a credit note and used every dime of it. (as per the customer's own admission right here in this report) Other than the 3% "unrecoverable" fee by Paypal (approximately $9.00 which we never saw) the customer got 100% entitlement to his money. The only person that swindled money out of the customer was Paypal.

- a complaint was filed to the BBB, we replied, and the BBB judgment was in favor of CanadianPaintball.com and not the customer.

- false. The customer DID attempt to defraud us by trying to get his money back TWICE once by us refunding him his money and AGAIN by trying to make Paypal think he wasn't refunded. (his motives was to force Paypal to steal money from our Paypal account for the cashed personal check instead of having to receive a credit note) Factual proof on file with Paypal.

"I ordered it last week and I still have 0 emails from them telling me when I will receive it. Nor do I have any shipping information."

- product received by the customer and emailed by Canada Post. Again, no RIP OFF here.
