Craig Monteilh says he's a businessman, but he is nothing more than a slick con artist. He calls himself a "fitness consultant" and says he works with professional athletes. He dropped names, which did not impress me.

He approached me at the gym, 24 Hour Fitness. He offered to help me work out for free, and said he had "supplements" that could help me lose weight and get tone. Specifically, he mentioned Ephedra and human growth hormone (HGH). I was not interested, and was able to keep him at arms length for a few weeks.

One day he called and said he had a business proposition. I met with him just to get him to leave me alone, and had no intention of "investing." Needless to say, it ended up that I was stupid enough to "help him."

He said he buys the product up front, in cash, then delivers it to the client for cash payment, with substantial profit. He would get my money back to me in a very quick turnaround with profit. When asked, he said this was very unusual that he would bring someone in, but all of his cash was tied up at the moment with other deals.

He said that there is nothing illegal about the process, and I could not get in any trouble. His business requires discretion only because the sports associations have banned the use of HGH.

Of course, I have yet to see my money. I have called the police, with no recourse. He has told me that the police cannot touch him. I have found records indicating that he has a felony conviction for fraud and grand theft in 1987. He has been evicted more than once. He is living with someone named Sonya Ericastilla, who, I believe, knows what he does.

It has been recommended that I try to find other victims. I do still have a couple of tricks up my sleeve, but I doubt that I will get my money back through any means.

I put Youth Tech in the title because he says he works with Youth Tech Inc. in Newport Beach, CA, a clinic that specializes in anti-aging treatment, including hormone therapy. This is simply his words/implications, and is not yet proven. I wanted to put it in the title, because he probably uses this as a line with all of his victims.

Assuming the firm is not involved, I would presume that they would want to work with me to stop him from using the name.

I am trying to verify this connection, and will update this report when I find more facts.
