I bought tickets from Expedia.com over the web for two flights to Germany for a Condor flight (1300 USD). Expedia sends me the paper tickets to my home address and we go to the airport (paper tikets in hand). Condor says that these tickets are invalid and that I have to buy NEW ones, which cost me 2100 USD (since I am at the counter and my flight is leaving in 20 minutes). I have to take the last 2 seats in the plane. I call up Expedia.com for almost 7 months now (got case numbers, etc.), they keep on telling me I have to wait 12 months for any refunds, which is ridiculous. I am still (7 months later) waiting for any refund. I paid now 3400 USD for two tickets.

Call The Airline!
AUTHOR: J - (U.S.A.)

The tickets you book through Expedia are actually charged by the airline--Expedia only takes a $5.00 USD booking fee per person. If you're wanting a refund, call the airline since they charged your credit card. And for future reference, it's NOT actually Expedia's fault that you booked "invalid" flights, since what they have on the website is what is given to them by the individual airlines.
Hope this helped somewhat, and sorry for your trouble.
