Niles, OhioIn May 2007, two young ladies rang my door bell asking me to purchase magazine subscription(s) to help them obtain a trip to Mexico. They were both very personable, although Tenesia did the majority of the talking. She answered all my questions in detail and explained their process and friendly competition with other young sales people.
After viewing their list of available magazines, I asked about gift purchases and they said 'no problem'. I agreed to buy a one year subscription to large print Prevention magazine for my grandmother's birthday. her birthday was two months away and Tenesia assured me the magazine would be arriving by July. It is NOT. I paid by check and it has long since cleared my account (no hope of placing a stop payment). Attempts to reach the company have not been successful.
The cost was more than a subscription would be if I had purchased directly from the magazine. Tenesia provided a company telephone number when I asked and wrote out a receipt explaining one copy for my records, one for tax purposes.

you think this is bad, look up palmetto marketing inc. same company owned by Vincent Pitts but they changed their name to Freedom Sales. Hmmm... too much bad internet publicity... I don't know, maybe
