Vongo - Starz Entertainment VONGO is a HUGE RIPOFF! FLAT OUT CROOKS! Englewood Colorado

I signed up with these crooks on a 14 day trial membership. I called Vongo customer service to cancel after 8 days because it would never download. The girl said they were updating their software and to try again in 2 days. I waited and it still did not work so I called Vongo customer service a second time to cancel. This second agent told me that my account had already been cancelled. Okay. Thank you.

A month later I get billed for $9.99. I call Vongo customer service, whom by the way, hardly speaks English. Argued with a flunkie for 15 minutes and asked to speak to another English challenged flunkie supervisor. He says to me, yes, you called the first time to cancel, but then the second time you called our records indicate that you called to update your account (LIE #1). No, I didn't call to update jack. THEN you called again a month later to reactivate your account (LIE #2) and that's why we charged you the $9.99.

I "at first" politely told him I called a total of two times and both times were to cancel the account within the 14 day trial membership. I never called to update anything and I certainly did not call a month later to reactivate. His reply, "Well, that's what our records show. I cannot issue a refund." Then the conversation turned to a not so polite conversation. After 30 minutes on the phone with this idiot he said he would submit it for review but they would just review the records (Oh, you mean the incorrect records that you forged to get your $9.99? Pretty good gig if you do that to 10,000 consumers). No refund.

Filed dispute with my credit union, complaint with Better Business Bureau, and a Consumer Complaint Report. Stay away from these rip off artists! They will not give you your money back and forge your records.
