Credit Solutions Of America representative contacted Ripoff Report in late 2011 to let us know they needed to close down their business because of new regulations in the industry. It is Ripoff Reports opinion, these restrictions are not strong enough and are long overdue.
Credit Solutions of America did stay open for many months, not taking in new business, only taking care of existing accounts the best they could.
It should be known, that before Credit Solutions went out of business and for the years they were on Ripoff Reports Corporate Advocacy, Business Remediation and Customer Satisfaction Program , .. they did make things right with customers that came to Ripoff Report. We do understand they did have issues with customers. If the Corporate Advocacy Program did not exist, .. thousands of consumers would have never received a refund.
ALL COMPANIES GET COMPLAINTS, BUT HOW THE COMPANY HANDLES THOSE COMPLAINTS, SEPARATES GOOD BUSINESSES FROM BAD BUSINESSES.
..Remember, just because a company or individual is reported on Rip-off Report does not mean you should not do business with them. Use Rip-off Report information as a tool to your advantage. Be knowledgeable about any company or person you hire. Also, don't be afraid to ask questions and get additional information until you feel comfortable in allowing them to work for you.

Based on the report here at Rip-off-Report that Credit Solutions might have alot of complaints but that they were committed to customer satisfaction; I signed up with them.
Late 2007 I was diagnosed with a serious illness with treatment starting in Feb 08. Fearing I would not be able to go through the treatment and pay my bills I checked up on Credit Solutions In Feb 08 I signed up with Credit Solutions based on the endorsement of Rip-off Report.
Credit Solutions told me I would be debt free in 36 months. I believed them until June of 08 when called them to pay off a few bills and discovered that the creditors were not going to work with us that we had lawyers coming after us, taking us to court, filing judgments against us. We are worse off now than we were before we went to them for help. How can people prey on the poor the sick the old like this? I have joined a class action lawsuit. It will never repair our credit and we will probably have to file bankruptcy.
Credit Solutions lied, never mentioned that the credit card companies that Credit Solutions was going to work with over a 36 month period would not work with us, would take us to court and take the money right out of our checking account. As a matter of face Troy told us that Credit Solutions had much more power as a large corporation talking to the creditors as they settle millions while I just owed thousands. He was a good salesman, got me to sign up then I never was able to get in touch with him again. I tried to pay off my bills but less than 9 months after signing up we owed twice what we owed when we signed up with Credit Solutions
My husband and I are destroyed by this company and the Rip Off Report needs to take off the endorsement of Credit Solutions
