These guys are the worst. Let me tell you. I joined their forum and was treated so poorly that I actually had to seek psychiatric help and am in the process of filing suit for harassment and slander and lost compensation.

This is the worst Buell forum I have ever used and want to let other people know how bad it is and how horrible they will treat you.

Bad Weather Bikers is unfair, dishonest and will continue to bully you as long as you're a member. It was by far the worst forum I have ever been a part of.

All they will do is give you bad advice and then blame you when things go wrong. Not only that, but they make you sound stupid for asking questions about your new bike, thinking everyone is a pro.

The person who was the worst is named Blake, I think a Custodian too.

Whatever you do, do not register, do not post and find another Buell forum to use.

Badweatherbikers Most Helpful Site Ever

AUTHOR: 99Savage - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, November 05, 2012

This a free site
Have never received any unsolicited communications from any member, however members have helped my work thru a mechanical problem when I was 1000 miles from home.
The members have been terrific. - The political, religious & Harley discussions on the "Quick Board" are lively & intense- and- informed (both sides) but no profanity & negligible personal attacks.
Right now they seem to be down and I miss them more than I can say.

Absolutely Inaccurate

AUTHOR: Dan - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, July 19, 2010

I have been a user of the badewather forums for over a year.  The members of the forum go out of their way to help solve problems and find solutions.

I am a novice and have never been treated rudely or in an offensive manner

The forum is a great source of used and obsolete parts to keep the Buell's running and the members provide technical assistance when needed

Bad Weather Bikers

AUTHOR: Rd Wooton - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, July 20, 2008

I've been coming to this web site for about 3 years now and find it very friendly and
helpful. There are many there who take a lot of time and effort to help those in need, not just posting answers to questions but offering mechanical help, storage, emergency pickup and other services to total strangers! On occasion, someone will post a complaint about a machines that is so far removed from members experience that it is assumed to be the work of a "troll", or one who only shows up to start an argument. Those people are quickly called to task but at the same time, someone will ask questions to make sure that it is someone who is simply not being informative, assumes everyone knows what the problem is, or the person simply has bad writing skills.

If the person is truly innocent and is simply exhausted with their machine and cannot work their own solution then he/she will still get open arms and hearts. As for someone claiming mental damage, may I suggest that the real mental distress is due to an unreasonable assumption that the world will not kiss their a*s? As for their threats to sue and their attempts to damage others by posting falsehoods, they can slander and bluff at will, but not without retribution. All of us at Bad Weather Bikers are simply riders of motorcycles and we are from all walks of life. To attack us in such a manner is akin to attacking all of society. A fools errand.

#2 REBUTTAL Individual responds

how can there be a ripoff from a free registry, owner derived website?

AUTHOR: Nivaguy - (Canada)

POSTED: Saturday, May 03, 2008

Bad Weather Bikers aka Badweb is a site run by, and for Buell enthusiasts and owners. It's operated by a private individual, much like a private club, with open forums for owner input, opinions, and technical advice. given that its a free ( no charge to register) service, based on the concept of private membership its hard to see how it can be a ripoff, or consumer fraud.

That said, as one of the contributing members on Badweb I am indirectly named in this complaint, with all its stated, and implied shortcomings, and illegalities. As such, I find it not just ludicrous, but worthy of legal action, specifically, a defamation of character lawsuit from each, and every contributing member. The lack of dates, thread titles, or thread ID numbers, however, leads me to wonder if this individual has an actual complaint, or if they showed up 'trolling' and were ID'd as a trouble maker... a quick check of the membership board, for example, shows no 'James' as ever having registered for the named town, or general area of the state.

an open offer to all who are curious about Buells - come visit the board, meet the people, and judge for yourself.

I've been associated with the Badweatherbikers for about 8 years now, and have never needed to see a specialist to deal with the mental trauma.
I've found the message board to be full of very helpful, and knowledgeable people, that are more than willing to go the extra mile to help out another fellow bueller.
I myself, have travelled a few miles to deliver a spare part I had, to another that needed it.
Buells are wonderful machines in their invironment, and I've found the majority of owners are truly good people. Blake, the moderator of the message board, is one of these people. He gives alot of his time, and energy to the board, and tries to deal with everyone in a professional manner.
