I hired Megastar Media to finish out a large website for me.

After spending tens of thousands of dollars of my money, and 8 months of my time with Sandy Rowley at Megastar Media (www.megastarmedia.com), I finally became tired of being strung along by them. The whole experience was frustrating from the moment I turned the project over to them.

I have now been informed by my new web developers (who are educated professionals), that much of the programming I paid them to do for me was actually outsourced to India. The quality of that programming was sub-standard.

I do remember there was a gentleman by the name of 'Mo' who I was told was one of their employees, who worked on the site more many months. I was never given the opportunity to talk directly with him on the phone, although I asked on many occasions. I later learned that his real name is Muhammed Hasan. I found it highly unusual that I could never have a phone conversation with Mo. Now I know why they wouldn't let me talk with him directly.

My gripe: Megastar Media is charged me $125/hour. Web development work is outsourced to India for roughly $5/hour. I had no idea they were doing this. I would have never hired them, had I known they were outsourcing their work to India. Sandy told me she has a whole team of people working for her.

The result: I had to move the website project to a new, credible web developer who was recommended to me by a friend. I had to spend more money to have the website professionally re-vamped. They cleaned up the shoddy programming, I finally have a functional, professionally designed website that is perfect in every way.

Working with Megastar Media was the biggest rip-off that has ever happened to me.
