I recently ordered poster from this company. I made my order online never dreaming that their idea of " Poster Paper " was not poster paper at all. Each poster cost me just over $11.00. There was nothing posted about low quality next to my paper option. I assumed Poster paper ment just that , not large format low weight paper stock. Very different.

Since my complaint they have added low quality next to the paper choice online by the admission of the owner Brian today) I opened the package with my business partner and or UPS man. To our horror the paper quality was terrible. Not only that the quality of the printing was awful the black was streaky and it looked like someone had printed them in their basement using a lower quality machine then my own large format printer. I sent the posters back immediatly and refused the shipment. Since then I have gotten nothing but greif and terrible customer support. They have taken the position that it is my fault for using the poster paper and only offered me a reprinting which I could pay the difference for on better paper. This did not work for me since my show ( which the posters were for) has come and gone. I have requested a refund and they have angrily and rudely told me to contest it with my bank and that even if I did this they were in the right and I would never get my money back. I spoke to my bank who assured me this is not true since I have no product can prove they have the product and am still out money. On top of this they have accused me of going on line and writting message boards slamming their good name. Until now I have not done this now that they have accused me and put the idea in my head I am spreading the word. : ) Never use this company all you will get is headache greif and a shotty product. Apprently I am not the only person on the web who feels this way!!!!!

Poor Paper Choice by Customer

I am an employee of Sir Cooper and would like to state that we would never rip off any of our customers.

We offer four different types of poster paper and this customer picked the cheapest one available. We have since discontinued this type of poster paper due to customer complaints. This customer's money has been refunded and they still want to complain about us, go figure????

Sir Cooper is a great company to work for and we work very hard to deliver great quality copies and posters to all of our customers. We would never rip off any customer... that is just insane, who they heck is going to have a company like that? Not us, I (and all my fellow co-workers) work VERY hard at what we do and want to give our customers the best product!

Sir Cooper has 1,000 of customers we just wanted to post a few reviews....


This is my first time using Sir Coopers copying service, and boy was I impressed! Fast courteous service and fast shipping. I am definatly going to use them again. Told all my friends and they are probably going to order from them too. The prices are so good that you couldn't copy anything at home cheaper your self. Just wanted to thank them for getting my order out fast and correct. Will definatly do more business soon, Thanks Justin!

Customer Service is my number #1 priority and it is the number #1 problem that just aggravates me to no end when I see poor customer service! But that is not a problem so far with Sir Cooper! I've made some mistakes on my end when ordering and they have been kind enough to call and help me through it. Sir Cooper is fast and the quality is very good! The on-line ordering process is easy to use and understand. I hope to have a long relationship with Sir Cooper. It's not the name...it's the people behind the name that make it great!

Review:

Superior quality, superior customer service, superior company! Ordered the basic poster, looked real nice, but UPS messed it up during shipping. The folks at Sir Cooper were quick in printing me a second and shipping it the very next day. An advice to other customers: order with the glossy paper option, it is worth the extra couple of bucks!
Again, great products and service. Will definitely do business again soon!

This was my second order for 24x36 posters. I ordered about ten posters in the gloss format on Monday and received the order properly packaged and in perfect condition on Thursday. The posters were beautiful and several people will be extremely happy when I give them to them this weekend! I will be placing more orders within two weeks to Sir Cooper as their quality is very high and they're great people to deal with

Again No One not Brian who I only spoke to a week ago or Gary offered me any upgrade in paper! Again my printing job was for a show that was time sensitive!

As for the quality rating on the internet. Brian you yourself told me you only added this after my order and my complaint. I hope you can sleep at night knowing that you had to lie in order to make a point that does not matter. I do not have the posters in question you do.I have proof as to when you received the posters. I have no product and no money. This is all my bank needs to contest the charge. You will hear from my bank after the 11th of July.

No More Lies

I appreciate that Brian the owner only got involved in this a month down the line. However neither he nor Gary the employee I was working with offered me upgraded paper for free. Gary told me quote " The paper you chose always turns out like that." Why would you sell a product call it poster paper and then blame your customer for not calling to make sure what they ordered had any quality to it. It makes no sense. You have an internet based business the whole point of this is that I don't have to call you. I can do it online. Do you call Itunes to make sure the music you are buying is going to be of quality. No they give you a sample of it before you buy. I never even got a proof before they were printed.

My other problem with this company is they are so stubborn they won't listen. These posters I ordered where time sensitive. I was not going to pay for an upgrade and a rush when the first product they sent me was not only on bad paper the printing job was terrible.

I feel sorry for a company that is so stubborn they have alienated their customers and now have two separate customers fighting their Visa charges for the same reason. Adults admit when they are wrong. They don't throw false accusations and treat people poorly. Here is the link to the other customers blog.

It is obvious that this is not me and when Brian accused me of being this customer I gave full opportunity to apologize. I own an art gallery in California and make posters for my shows every six weeks. I know a lot of people who need printing and I will make sure none of them use Sir Cooper after the way I have been treated.

I don't think Visa will take two customers with the same complaint lightly!

We offered Kenzie to reprint her entire order on higher quality paper for NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. She did not want this and asked for her money back.

In her case she failed to read the qualities of the different poster paper which is clearly stated on the ordering page. We do not feel that we should refund her money becuase she ordered that paper and made no attempt to call customer care. Therefore we are not liable to give her money back, only liable to offer her a reprint on higher quality paper at no additional charge, which we did.
