Total Protect provides Home Warranty. I paid $50 a month for a 'gold' plan for about two years. When my A/C developed a leak, they refused to fix it claiming that it was due to corrosion and that corrosion is not covered under their policy!

But according to what I have here; a summary of "Benefits At a Glance," it says, As long as your systems and appliances are currently in good working order, you're covered against future problems due to rust corrosion, water sediment, and other unknown prexisting conditions. According to what they say in the summary, you are supposed to be covered.
