1800 GET SLIM Omidi Brothers Liars, Very Unorganized, Rude, Unprofessional, looked like a Swap Meet in the Office. Beverly Hills , California

Wow where should I start? I seen their ad on an internet site and thought it was a good thing to see what they were about since they were advertising everywhere. I thought it would be good. So I contacted this company in January of 2010, and I was to recieve a call back in regards to my inquiry, and never did up until just 2 weeks ago. Now we are in April 2010 and when I spoke to a guy named "Diego" according to him they got my proof of insuance and coverage in February 2010 and that everything was approved by my insurance and the person who was to contact me before was no longer working there. So I said oh ok and we talked about the surgery for a little bit and I asked a whole bunch of questions to where he had transferred me to this other guy named "Carlos" and I spoke to him and he basically told me the same thing the other guy did and that it would be best to schedule an appointment to meet with Dr.Omidi. So I said sure why not and scheduled an appointment for 2 weeks out on April 24th at 10am. Three days till my appointment I was recieving calls left & right from the people in the office to confirm my appointment and from the Doctor himself to confirm. I confirmed and my husband thought it was a little fishy though as to why they kept calling to confirm something that was already done being confirmed. But we kept the appt and awaited to leave to B. Hills. Keep in mind I am 5 hrs away in Stockton, Ca and me and my husband drove down to Beverly Hills so I can go meet with him and do blood tests, and an endoscopy to make sure the "lining of my stomach" was ok and no gall stones or any of that was there. So we made it out there on Saturday the 24th at 12:30am from Stockton.

As we get into the office of 1800 GET SLIM, there were so amny people there it had looked like a swap meet, people hanging out the doors in the hallways. I mean it was horrible. But I still on insisted to keep my appt to see what was my options for the Lap Band Surgery. I filled out their hundred and one stack of papers, I took their little Urine test in which afetwards they made me put it in this little blue cooler box in the front office which I thought was extreamely weird, then I sat down and waited for them to call me. An hour goes by and no one calls me. another half hour goes by and no one calls me. I seen the many of the "doctors and nurses" there mixing up the other patients in the office with other patients it was really odd. Then when the other patients were done, they were not told they can leave, in fact they just sat down and waited for someone to help them.As I am sitting in their office my cellphone rings and its the doctor office I am sitting in, THEY WANTED TO CONFIRM MY APPT FOR TODAY! CAN U BELIEVE THIS? So I went to the front and said you guys are calling me while I am sitting here to confirm my appt. The lady looks at me and says "when, now?" I said YES, she says "well we know youre here". So I turned around and walked away. Then one lady was there for about 1 1/2 hrs too and she could have went home, but noone told her anything. So finally at 12 noon I was fed up that they havent called me yet to do anything. And after all the other people lounging around going back and fourth int he offices int he hallways etc, I get up and wait in their long line in the front to ask what was going on, the woman in the front tells me, "I dont know what they did with your file" I looked at her in a way you wouldnt believe. So she asks another "doctor" "wheres her file" the "doctor" turns around and says she has no idea to call the other office so the lady did and by that time, I am pissed the hell off and she is asking the office if they have my file and they even said NO..I am pissed fuming due to the fact my appt was at 10am and I was not called yet and it was 12pm, and then to drive all the way 5 hrs there, all for them to lose my file?? I took off my white wrist band they gave me and slammed the s**t on their front desk and said in front of the 30+ people in that office " WHEN YOU GET MORE PROFESSIONAL & FIND MY FILE THEN YOU CALL ME!" And I walked out.

I then left and about 3 hrs later I get a call from the same doctor office saying "this is Carlos, and I seen you did not make it to the appt and you are a No Show" I laughed at him and went the hell off on him. He then has a "Office manager" call me and she says I seen you are a No show, I said u know what And went the hell off on her too and then she asks "would you like to reschedule?" I said "Absolutely...NOT" and hung up on her!   I cannot believe the way this office was so a*s backwards, upside and spinning. IT was overly crowded, no one knew anything. And I would not reccomend this place to anyone! Point Blank Period.

On top of that you will get your car towed if you park in the parking garage! One patient was not told where to park and they towed her vehicle!!! Sad but true!

I spent 5 hrs driving from Stockton to Beverly Hills, spent gas money, hotel money, food etc! This is ridiculous. The business is bad. And the owners had gotten their license revoked to practice medicine. I wouldn't trust them!
