SEO Reputation Management at its best!

After my wife had been working for this company for the last week and a half, they had changed the script on her numerous times and expected her to memorize a 2 page document each time by the next day. After reviewing each script that has been changed numerous times, it's unknown who comes up with it. It seems like it's never checked for spelling or grammatical errors! If it was, it wouldn't sound like someone who doesn't speak English as a first language wrote it.

We also have a handicap daughter that requires us to feed her by a machine. In order for us to keep her from pulling out her tube, we have to disconnect her from the machine when she's done and that requires my wife to go on a break that takes no more than a couple minutes. Yet b/c she took a break, she didn't get paid for that entire hour. The company spent hours training their new employees, yet not once did they mention anything about not getting paid for taking a short break, even when we explained our situation, the trainer said it was fine! There's no documentation saying that you do/don't get a break if you work so many hours.

This is a crackpot company and those who are interested, should stay clear. It's not all that it's cracked up to be!

1NW Contact Is A Great Company To Work For

AUTHOR: Randy - (United States of America)

I am a former independent contractor that worked [happily] with 1NW Contact for well over a year.  I am not pleased that people can simply type whatever they want about a company when in fact these people did not perform as they promised to 1NW.

1NW personnel make tens of 1000's of phone calls every day and there are many "happy 1099's" .  I was one of them.

After reading all of these complaints, the few people that are complaining are doing so for several reasons and all are because they didn't work according to their contract.

1.  They didn't do what they were supposed to do to get paid, and that is make phone calls.  These people are working from home and think they should get paid because they are sitting behind their computers.  They are not actually working however.

2.  Complaining about a script when working for a telemarketing company just means you are not cut out for this work.  Telemarketing companies like 1NW are commissioned by other companies to make their phone calls.  These "other companies" come up with the scripts, not 1NW.

I have known Len for over 18 months as well as most of his staff.   If you are considering working for him or if you have a question about his integrity please call me at (((Redacted))).  If you do your job, you will have no complaints.

I have been working for 1NW Contact for close to a year.  The changing of scripts is part of the business and when/if the scripts are changed the changes are minor.  In training everything is spelled out and covered in regards to breaks and pay.

1NW is a great company to work for and I wouldn't hesitate to tell my friends about it.

Very interesting to hear about your issue with 1nw contact. I used to work for Len & Peter when they ran 1st-nationwide resources in Camarillo which was their company before this one. I happen to be still waiting on a check from then from June 2009. We all worked there for that whole month and the company went out in July 3rd but our last paycheck came June 3rd. I received a signed settlement over from them after I went to the labor board and it had a date to be paid by 1-31-2010, still haven't seen a dime and that amount is with the labor board collections. What it also interesting is the fact that 1 month after 1st-nationwide went down, 1nw contact was registered on California secretary of state. You can go there and see the date 8-17-2009. So your issues seem familiar to me. If you would like to talk to can let me know and we can discuss more.

Dear CGIT08 (Fort Belvoir Virginia USA)

AUTHOR: Len Linton - (USA)

1NW Contact contracts with companies and agrees to change the script if the company requests a change. Sometimes companies are unsure of a script and test different ways of delivering a message. That is the contact center business.

We provide a contract for each agent to read, understand and sign before they begin work. The contract is simple and straight forward; easy to understand. The pay policy is for the agent to invoice the company based upon the report of their available time on the system. Outbound agents are paid an hourly rate for available time (expressed in hours and minutes) worked in the specific week. If a person logs off our pauses, they make themself unavailable.
