On 1/30/2010 the following order was replaced and a confirmation received. When no order was received within 2 wks. customer requested a tracking no. to check status and 1st ChoiceMemory.com refused to provide and has not answered any emails since charging this order to customer credit card. They seemed to have "closed down business" since taking customer money and not delivering. A check of the tracking no. will probably reveal that no such order was even shipped. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!

I think there should be some kind of regulation when complaints towdars these companies go in to STOP the said company from being able to start a New Business under another name just so they can mnipulate the buyers again! I have seen this from people coming in from other countries starting multi million dollar business' then going back to their country after the fact with MILLIONS in their pockets!

But, to make a long story short, for anyone that had issues with 1st Choice Memory in bad dealings, they Now have another of MANY companies called "portatech.com" at http://www.portatech.com

First thing I did when I called them was ask the gal answering the phone, is this company related to 1st Choice Memory? She said that is 1 of our companies!

I have not done any checking up on Portatech yet to see if I can find any problems but think I will stick to a company I know does well in service even if the item(s) are a dollar or two more!

Order 216925 was received on 2/23/2010. Still no reason given why it was late, but at least it has been received. I have not verified whether it works. Credit Card company said they were going to try and contact 1stChoiceMemory.com 4 days ago and refund my money. Not sure if this was the reason for the order being shipped or not. Just glad I received it. MATTER RESOLVED.
