I think I have also been scammed by this company. I was approved for $4,500 (not preapproved, but approved and that David Johnson had the last word on the financing and everything looked okay). I thought I had done a thorough search and found no negative comments. It was only after I mailed my $200.00 money order and thought of searching for "scam" that I ran across this website and am sick to my stomach.

I have emailed David Johnson (If that is his real name) on several occasions and he has not responded. I have also contacted a lawyer who has advised me to contact the FBI for computer fraud and mail fraud. If we work together we can stop him. I have called the Texas FBI (972-559-5000) and the postmaster (1-800-372-8347).

Also, I know someone said that filing a complaint with the BBB was useless, but that was the first place I searched and if we all file a complaint, then other consumers should have a report for viewing.

Scammed too

I have also been scammed by this company. I sent a money order for $260 for a lender's fee and guaranteed a loan for $6,500.

The hit when people are desparate and down.

They must be stopped.

You're Not Alone!

AUTHOR: Whitney - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 08, 2005

Lisa,

I was scammed by this company in September 2004 when they were using the name 1st Payday Loans. While I've yet to recover my money, I am hopeful that I have finally found the right contact who can help me.

Please contact me so that we may share information regarding this company (I'm currently in contact with five other victims), as I am hoping there is strength in numbers.

Whatever you do, don't give up, because that's what this company is counting on you doing!

Whitney
