In early July 2016, I paid Jenny $400 to have her stud Gunna Roll bred to my mare, on top of the stud fee I paid a mare care fee of $10/day. The mare was there just over a month and she assured me she was bred and ready to go. I picked her up and all was good.

A few months later I offered Jenny the mare in trade for her foaling out the new born foal, and weaning it. She agreed, and I delivered the mare in February of 2017. Brief checking in was made during the time period. I messged Jenny in early July 2017, she then let me know a beautiful buckskin colt was born. She claimed that he had a large vet bill due to some complications, I asked to see a copy so I could pay it as it was my foal. She said she'd pay it and call it a wash if she could keep the foal. At this point, she had made comments that the foal was hers and there wasn't anything I could do about it. She had not given me any money, at this point I was out my mare, over $700 I had paid to her in fees, plus two trips of 3 hours in fuel hauling the mare to her.

I had slacked and hadn't transferred the mare into my name yet, and Jennifer contacted the previous owner conning her into signing transfer paperwork and getting the mare into her name without my consent. I still have the mare's original papers and the bill of sale from when I bought her. AQHA has suspended all activity and transfers on the mare and foal due to her forgery of paperwork.

I then hired an attorney, Kathryn Hall, who has been absolutely wonderful in this process. I'm in the process of taking her to small claims now after not getting a response from a demand letter. Once she she received the demand letter, she sold the mare and foal.d for $4800 = value of foal + all fees accrued in this process.

As of today, 1/23/18 we are going into mediation on 2/14/18 for this case.

I would absolutely NOT trust this woman, she is a snake and lies through her teeth to get money. She is ALWAYS broke and trying to make a buck.
