I received a call saying that I had one a trip I had entered for at a bridal show. Upon asking repeatedly I was told there was no catch that I had entered a contest and won. All I had to do was listen to a cooking show that I had to go to with my fiance at a hotel and I got the trip plus an online shopping spree. Of course, like most other individuals struggling to make money I thought I could use the trip as a honeymoon and the shopping spree for favors. So I went and listened as they did the demonstration and as I listened to the guy tell me how teflon causes cancer from 20/20 reports and that baby food has rat poop and they use very good scare tactics. At the end they bring us to a different rep and start going over packages. So needless to say they rushed us through the contract, which i will admit i should have read more thoroughly, and I am not blaming anyone else for that! When we were doing the contracts my fiance filled out one and she had me fill out one. When it came time for the signatures she said "oh james is busy I will sign his name, dont tell anyone that I did that". which i thought was very weird. so we went home excited that we just got another two trips on top of it. A few days later my fiance received a call confirming. When he hung up i said i think we should reconsider and i called them 2 business days later to cancel. The person that called to confirm said it would not be shipped until after tuesday the following week. I called on monday to cancel and talked to a woman who I will NEVER forget. When I told her that i wanted to cancel she said let me check your order status. I said I know it has not been shipped yet. she said ok let me check. she said you got a confirmation call so you are now bound to this contract. I tried to explain that I am going through financial difficulties and that I cant justify spending money. She then changed her voice and started to say, in a very loud voice, I have no sympathy for you there is nothing she could do and that there is no way I could return it. She started yelling that this is my own fault and to grow up and realize that this contract is like buying a car and that I would have to deal with it.SO i called the finance corporation and tried to talk to them. I then realized after everyone said to me you "Signed" a contract that my rep did not and that it was a forged signature. I was talking to HyCite and they said oh well if the signature was forged it is a void contract.If presti does not refund your money then I will. I wish I had taped that conversation. She said all i had to do was send her the signed papers, which i did. HyCite was very friendly and nice to me, nothing like the lady over at Presti. SO, I then called back presti and said i would like to cancel my order and she screamed "YOU CAN NOT CANCEL YOUR ORDER!" I said why, she said "you signed a contract." (still screaming) and I said so "a signature is important" she says "yes that is what binds you to the contract, you signed it Gina" and I said "yes i did, my fiance did, but your sales rep did not, the girl helping us forged it" she screamed something i did not hear and hung up the phone on me. I have never had anyone talk to me the way these people have. So a few weeks later i had not heard back from hycite after i sent them the contracts so i called them. I talked to jennifer and she was trying to talk to her supervisor, after calling repeatedly she finally said they do not have the power to cancel the account and that they never heard back from presti. I talked to presti a week ago because i had refused my products when they came and they were calling to ask why. I told her and she started yelling again and said that i have no right and that they all have the power of attorney to sign each others names. if that is the case then why did the original sales woman tell me not to tell anyone that she was signing his name. I then told her that there was an incredible amount of bad reports about them on here and they said they are working to resolve them. She then hung up on me again! 2 times. I do not know what to do. I do not want these pots and pans and I dont even have them in my possesion. I tried to talk to the woman at presti and when she made me cry she said "oh stop crying and get over it. I cannot feel sorry for everyone that calls cause they dont have the money" that is not a way to treat a customer and it is just bad business. I am at a loss what to do, and I have written to many companies on this behalf. I only hope you can help me, I am trying to pay for a wedding and to add this on will kill me. I hope that presti will atleast read this and start to treat there customers with respect and dignity.

My fiancee was conned into this same thing at a Bridal show, and even though I told her it was a scam, we went anyways. As soon as they broke us up after the demonstration, the rep asked to go over packages with us, but I laughed in her face and told her there was no way I was paying that much for pots and pans. She told me it was an "investment" and I said the only thing one invests in is the stock market, not cookware. She then asked if I spoke for both of us and "if I wear the pants in the family?" To which I replied, "Yes I do!" and we walked away from that ripoff. Be smarter next time.
