Went in to try out their free week of classes. After trying it out for a week I taught the place was "ok" and they were really close to my house to I signed up for classes.
When signing up I asked what their cancellation policy was and I was told I could "cancel at any time if I was unhappy with my progress or with the classes". After about a month training there I realized that the instructors were not as nice and helpful as they were when I was doing my trial period.
Also, many of the students seemed that they had "something to prove" and were REALLY rough. I trained martial arts for 2 years before and I know the difference between training hard and trying to teach someone a lesson.
To top it of the Muay Thai instructor ridiculed me in front of a whole class for not doing something right by asking if I had a "learning disorder or something" and laughing with the rest of the class. I was really mad but keep my mouth shut and waited about two weeks to come back and talk to the owner.
I told him everything that had happened since I began training there and that I was very disappointed with their service and the attitude of the students but even worst the instructors, especially the muay thai instructor who is a professional fighter.
The owner said he was sorry and asked me what I wanted to do. I told him I wanted my membership canceled and that I would not be training there any longer. He refused to cancel my contract even tho they had told me that "cancel at any time if I was unhappy with my progress or with the classes". He went on to say that "he" had never told me that and that he could not just cancel my account. He told me I did the "free week trial" and during the trial I had no obligation, but since I had signed up I had to fulfill my contract.
When I brought up again that I was told I could cancel at any time if I was unhappy with the classes he told me that "nobody in here would have told you that" and he said I had to finish up my payments for a six month contract. I was furious and after much discussion he agreed to let me out if I paid a "cancellation fee" of $300!!!!!
By then I was so mad and wanted out of it so bad that I paid the money and left. To my surprise the next month I got another charge from them on my bank account!!!! I called and they said it was their mistake and they would refund it to my bank account via EFT in a few days. It took them 3 weeks after me calling them 4 other times to see why my money was not refunded yet.
I got the run around with every single call and every time a different person would give me a difference answer.
This people are simply scam artists and arrogant pricks!
I found another gym in the area and I'm MUCH happier! I paid a little more at my other gym but frankly I would not train at the 303 Training Center even if they offered me to train there for free.

Wow! This report couldn't be further from the truth. 303 Training Center is the most family friendly martial arts gym I have ever been to, and I have been to many. The staff is friendly and welcoming, always going out of there way to make members feel more comfortable. The members at 303 Training Center are some of the best people I know, and I have made some lasting friendships that have changed my life. I have never seen BJJ Teachers that are so awesome with children and the parents as I have seen at 303 Training Center. It is an amazing facility, with amazing people! Coach Tony and Professor Alvin are some of the most straight forward, honest, and friendly instructors I have ever experienced is this business, They're true class acts.
This report is obvious from a disgruntled ex-employee. And everyone at 303 Training Center knows who that ex-employee is. This ex-employee has gone out of his way to hurt 303 Training Center and the members that go there. Anyone who walks through the doors at 303 Training Center will quickly see the deception of this report.
It is a crime that people can make false reports such as this one, and try an hurt good people. Not to mention the attempt to steer people away from a martial arts facility that changes peoples lives for the greater good such as 303 Training Center does for so many people. And last but not least, all the good services 303 Training Center does for the neighborhood communities and social work out side the gym is unmatched in kindness.
I was a member of 303 Training Center for nearly 2 years and had some of the greatest experiences of my life, and met some of the greatest people I have ever known, and still know to this day. This ripoff Report is completely false.

Hello,
This report is utterly false. I hope anyone reading it can see this is an upset employee that wishes to try an damage a business with a solid rep. We would never charge someone $300.00 to get out of a contract. It's just not how we operate. We honor our 30 day notice and treat all people with respect. In just two years time we have taken 3rd on the "A" list we officially represent and train both the "Colorado State Patrol" and Buckley Airforce Base, we raise money for The Volenterrs of America and love our Colorado community! We are also up for Colorado Gym of the year awards for 2 straight years. Our policies on people wanting to leave are as laxed as anyone in the country. Unfortunately the more success we have the more people are going to try to hurt us by lying. Please call us directly if you have any concerns and just remember we are a family run organization and our top priority is to treat people with the respect and honor they deserve. And yes NO Contracts and a 30 day notice will set you entirely free. No pay outs! Not to mention its the most affordable school in the region for the space, quality and schedule.
