I understand every frustration, but at the end of the day it’s up to each individual to do their due, diligences. I am just learning about 5linx, but what from what I learned so far I believe they are somewhat pricey, but for the right person there can be money made. Now let’s first analyze the business aspect of things. You are a subpar of the business and is considered somewhat of an employee just on the commission base.  The argument about how much it cost to own your own business is rubbish because you are not an owner of the business you have no stocks or say so. You are simply a employee that pays to be able to utilize their services. The reality is most people don’t understand that you as a business owner don’t receive a check from someone else business, but rather your own business if you are successful. Also to be able to operate as your own business as someone of you stated you have to have your business license. In addition, your EIN number for tax purpose. Stop kidding yourself, you guys are simply working for someone. For goodness sake you guys don’t even have your own website. Everything is replication of another employee website, which none of you guys can change.

5Linx Enterprises is going for its billion dollar run. I am sorry to see that you did not see the vision of the company. When you watch a presentation for 5Linx Enterprises, they tell you exactly what you are supposed to do. Exactly what it is we are trying to achieve and how. The initial sign-up fee is a small price to pay for what you get joining 5Linx Enterprises. It is also $249 now not $499. How much money does it cost to start your own business? This company has done it for you. I have been in 5Linx for a while now and I love the company more and more every single day. This company has integrity. There are no secrets in this company. We donate to charities every single year and provide a program called Linx2Funds for churches. It is completely free for them to join and it is to raise money for their church. God bless you for being so close minded and afraid. I am only 23 and probably make more money than you do in a year. If you think that $499 is something Craig Jerabeck, Jason Guck, and Jeb Tyler needs and needs to scam people for it, you are sadly mistaken. They are making money regardless of whether people join because they are representatives as well and have their own accounts. They are simply allowing people like me and you to join because we are ultimately trying to free people from being slaves of the system and slaves of bills. We are not a Pyramid Scheme. We have been featured on the news multiple times. In this company if someone joins below you and has more drive and chooses to work harder than you they can surpass you in the company. The percentage of commission actually decreases as your earned position goes up. The middle positions actually make the most money. Also the total earnings of the company are divided evenly every year to all the platinum senior vice presidents in the company. There is not a CEO just sitting up at the top collecting revenue. A senior vice president is a middle position and earns 30% commissions. As you go above that your commissions decrease to 5%. This company is not trying to hide. If we were a Pyramid Scheme we would be long gone. Take a look at the company again.

if the context of the complaints are as to a guarantee of performance then what complaints have or do you file against institutions of higher learning at present which can in no way guarantee that a graduate will be hired or any prospect of future success at all? If the success of an individual in this arena is based on performance then why would you assume something else in another? 

Have you heard of the concept of owning a business. It might be a new concept to you. A business is not a job. 

I am ashamed of the tactics of this group of individuals to ruin the name of 5 LINX. These are called rotten apples, only looking out for themselves and trying to earn a quick buck at the expense of others. Their shortsightedness does a disservice to the people who are looking for a vehicle to get ahead in today's troubling world. Thank you for exposing them and their ways. 

At the same time, having seen the success of many of my family members and myself in 5 LINX, all I can urge is don't throw out the baby with the bath water! They have caused the bath water to smell putrid, but the baby is still of immense value. Go to YouTube and see the people's stories about how they have been changed through 5 LINX. It is not easy, it is work, but where else can you arrive at a new year and be excited that 3 or 4 members of your own family will be SVP's this year? That is where I am coming from :)

5Linx appears to be a scam and the reason I say this is, call the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) and ask them "What business classification 5Linx is in?" and the FTC will say "Direct Sales" they are not registered as a business opportunity.  But everyone is saying "5Linx Business Opportunity" and saying "5Linx is a business opportunity" shouldnt that make it a business opportunity.  Sounds more like look over here while I take from your pocket over there. 

Look closely and you can see contradictions.  And dont just look at the cars they are driving its almost like saying you too can make enough money to own a Bentley.  And the Funny part is, they dont ask you for a lot of money which is why there are very little complaints, most people figure it was their fault they failed.

5linx is a very reputable company and they have more documentation than any other MLM I have ever tried. Before I even invested in the company I was thoroughly explained to how to get the kind of income they tell you you could potentially have. They really do have real results with real documentation. All it takes is for you to be focused. A lot of people fail to realize that money doesn't just come to you by doing nothing, you have to work for it. I have done many different MLM programs and I did not do well because I didn't believe in the programs and I did see them being a huge impacting business the way the economy is going. 5 Linx is a legitimate MLM with true potential and opportunity and the world will be sorry for not riding on this band wagon when they do revolutionize the telecommunication industry.

Yes I am a 5Linx representative in the MD suburbs right outside of Washington DC. When first approached with this opportunity I was skeptical at best. But once I attended a meeting and listened to the "whole" presentation, I immediately understood how this could benefit someone willing to go into business for themselves. So I left the meeting with questions about the legitimacy of the company.

So I did what "all" people should do when making any type of financial investment being small or large and here's what I found. The company has a Mary Kay and AVON style of marketing which is considered MLM. There is nothing illegal about this form of business model because it's used by many reputable and legitimate companies. The accusations of being a pyramid scheme is "totally" incorrect.

No one tricks you into joining the company with any claims of becoming rich, but what they do tell you is that with hard work and leveraging the efforts of others to sell the services you can earn residual income that can exponentially grow into tens of thousands of dollars monthly. For the person that compared this to a "job", this isn't a job that offers you a wage, this is a business venture and your success is indicative upon your effort to work hard and succeed.

Just like any business venture, success isn't guaranteed, I will be the first to tell you that. I invested 50k into a real estate business 3 years ago before the decline and haven't seen a penny of profit, so going into business is risky as well as expensive. I don't think $499 is asking too much for the potential ROI - Return on Investment of tens of thousands of dollars of residual income.

Let's look at what a pyramid scheme is. First of all a pyramid is illegal and second a pyramid wouldn't be in INC 500 and also a member of DSA - Direct Selling Assoc. which has a strict code of ethics. Also the definition of a pyramid is when the majority of income generated is based "solely" on recruiting people and no viable product is producing the majority of the income.

Also in a pyramid you "can't" make more money than the person that's above you in the MLM structure, this isn't true at all about this company. I see many people that have passed the person that brought them into the business, I for one have done this. So do your homework on MLM companies, it may not be for you but don't trash the business without learning more about the company and educating yourself on what a "pyramid" is and isn't.

Another factor to look at is the kind of people you see in the business. I'm a network engineer and I make a "very" comfortable income being a consultant. I don't need to waste my time with anything that's a scheme. But, when you attend a meeting you will see business partners that are current and former professional athletes, on air personalities, recording artist, doctors, lawyers, pastors or large congregations, professionals and many other types of people from all walks of life with varied education and income backgrounds.

I don't think all of these types of people will risk their reputation and time being involved with an illegal pyramid scheme. If your interested, go to a meeting and see what this can do for you personally, don't listen to someone giving their opinion that knows nothing about the business at all. Ask questions at the meeting and do your research. We don't want everyone to join but this isn't for everyone anyway, because if you aren't motivated you aren't going to make money.

You can make money or you can make excuses all your life, but you can't do both!!!

Avon, Mary Kay, The Pampered Chef (Purchased by Warren Buffett), At Home America, Southern Living At Home, and so many others, all use the same business model. Most cost between $250-$500 to start, and all are business opportunities, not JOBs. I'm not sure why you are referring to 5linx as a job, but of course when you get hired for a job, you expect to get p aid, but when you start a network marketing business, a brick and morter (store front), whether it's a restaurant, or car wash, YOU put the money up first, and work your tail off so that you can see a profit!

The beauty of newtork marketing (direct selling) is that you have the ability and opportunity to make a profit fairly quickly. Your results depend on YOU!Your goals, desire, drive, sphere of influence, ingenuity, imagination, and whatever else you have within or around you, to help you get to where you want to be, determines how far you will go in any business. There are other factors, in traditional business that can, unfortunatley, determine whether you do well or not, b ut Network marketing truly is a business where there is no glass ceiling. It make take you longer than some, but the ability to earn through the efforts of a team, and to earn income residually, is by far better than any job I've ever had. As a matter of fact, I haven't had many, but I have embarked on different business ventures over the years, and I can tell you that Network Marketing is where it's at! Your product, the company and the team leadership definitely play a part, but if you find the right company wtith the right product, and leadership, oh yeah, and training, you can't help but excel! And yes, I am a 5LINX Rep, and it is the best opportunity that I've been involved with, in my 20 years in business. This is coming from a Realtor, Former Hair Salon owner, and Modeling Agency owner. Did I mention that I've been involved with various business ventures over they years :-).

To the person who wrote this report, you are are doing a dis-service to a lot of people,with the accusations you are making against this co. I am a distributor of 5linx services , but i am an independent business owner , therefore my ability to produce a median income or an above average income rests totally on my efforts put forth to build my business . In every presentation it is stated on numerous occasions what is required to get to any income level small or great ,on every dvd that is viewed. it is also reiterated by the host of the presentation, furthermore on every reps web-site you can view the same presentation ,I said all this to say you know what you need to do long before you shell out 499, which is a small price to pay to start any business.5 linx is a vehicle not a guarantee to build a massive income and many have done exactly that , and yes many of them are under age 30 which I have met personally and work with.I myself have not yet gotten to a six figure income but I have made money and I work my business part time so I can say it does work, and you can make millions if you are willing to invest that kind of time into your business . This is not a get rich quick scheme ,yet with hard and consistent effort you can do very well in this company, and you get out of it what you put into it . IT does not matter what age you are young or old , So please stop poisoning the minds of others with your incorrect information . IF you are going to post a report please get all the facts , when you fail to to that you can potentially hurt the business of good people out her trying to change their lives , if you tried it or something similar and it didn't work for that doesn't mean it won't work for the next person. The first sign that you're dealing with a scam is when someone says "Hey you're hired, now give me money." Doesn't that sound like the exact opposite of the way jobs work. At every job I've ever had they pay me, I've never paid them.

Well, as a 5 Linx business owner, I have to tell you that I was never told I would become a millionaire, I was told that I could own my own business and work it as much or as little as I wanted and that I could make as much or as little as I wanted. Being only 25 years old, I consider myself a young person. I know the owner of the Genesis Group which is why I have to ask, have you been to a meeting? They are all very upfront that you have to work and that this is a way to make extra income, not a career change. Of course if your part time income exceeds your full time income well then you have the best problem there is to have.

I am sorry that you have gotten a bad taste in your mouth for the Genesis Group, but I assure you that the money is there to be made, whatever it is, and that all you have to do is plug into the right system, and just follow the system. I was told what I had to do and how I had to do it prior to paying anything, just as everyone at any Genesis Group meeting is. Where you got your information is what concerns me the most, as my husband and I have been a part of 5 Linx and the Genesis Group for one year.

1. 5linx is a very legitimate company with a great business opportunity and incredible array of telecommunications services. It has a network marketing model and this is very legal and common in the United States and other countries. In a job situation, employes trade their time, etc for a salary and the owner(s) of the company keep all the profits.

So, no matter how hard or smart you work, your income can only be so much.
Network marketing or mlm is a legitimate model which allows individuals to market a product or service as well as share the opportunity with others. You not only earn commissions on your customers, but also on the customers of the people you refer into the business. This maximizes time and effort and eventually allows those who work persistently and consistently and never quit to eventually have a lifestyle most people only dream about.

I am a 5linx representative who chose this model over a traditional business which would have cost me thousands of dollars in investment. I used to be a teacher who realized that my dreams in life were bigger than the thirty something thousand dollars a year I was earning. 3. A business IS NOT a job. It takes education and hard work. There are ABSOLUTELY NO GUARANTEES in any business. People go to school for years and spend thousands of dollars, but when they start a business, they some how think a miracle will happen. Business takes continuous education and persistent application. Just ask ANY SUCCESSFUL business person from any field. It takes a NEVER QUIT attitude and a very strong desire to realize your goals and dreams. Many people WISH to make changes in their lives, yet are UNWILLING to do what it takes. They whine and complain and blame anyone but themselves.

4. The Genesis Group is led by Rich and Mark Knight. It is just a team. All you have to do is type 5linx in a search engine or go to www.5linx.com to find out about what 5linx does. You can get oa copy of Inc 500 2006 rankings to look up 5linx at #338. Nobody should give money without knowing what they're getting into. There's a contact # on the 5linx website which you can call to have your challenges looked into. The Genesis group is just one of many teams that exist in the company. Anyone can have a team in any business. In 5linx and many mlm companies, people name their teams. This encourages team spirit.

5. The Genesis Group (I'm not a part of this team) is a great team helping many people, young, old or medium use the 5linx opportunity to achieve their goals. Not everyone achieves their goals because not everyone is willing to do what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur. The Genesis group does not keep any investments ie $99 or $499 that an individual makes to start their business. That's a start up cost that goes directly to 5linx.

6. Personally, $99 or $499 is a very little investment to make to start a buisness. Just check out what it cost to start your own telecom company or your own hair salon or a McDonalds. I think that if someone were to borrow $100,000 from a bank to start a business, they'd pay more attention and do everything in their power to succeed at it. Treat your mlm or network marketing business as if you borrowed $1,000,000 to start it and you'd have no choice but to succeed. MLM is NOT A GET RICH QUICK! It takes learning and applying on a consistent and persisten basis over a period of time.
