I completed a work order for MIC Project Solutions(micprojectsolutions) which is a shell company for 911techguys (911techguys.com) and also Technology Support Services of Louisiana Inc. back in February.  Work Market was the portal through which I was contracted by Derek.  When the work order was complete and money was due to be paid, this unscrupulous individual decided not to pay me (and later I found out MANY others). After several phone calls and emais I was finally able to get a hold of him (a month later) and he stated that MIC Project Solutions and 911techguys had merged.  He promised I would be paid promptly.  He then added to the work order notes:

"Derek Legendre— 03/27/13 5:34PM EDT
Hello!

First and foremost, we want to apologize for the extra delay in approving your order. We appreciate your hard work and professionalism in the field and we know that a delay in payment is a strain in our business relationship. We have been in contact with Work Market to update them on issues that have developed which are making the delay happen and are thankful to them for their help. We hope this will be cleared up shortly – and we are working on it VERY diligently.

If you have any issues or concerns, you can contact Derek at (612) 399-9057 or email him at derekl@micprojectsolutions.com. It’s important that you reference the order id number when you call or email. We are working in the norms of Work Market’s terms of service which you as a resource and we as buyers both agreed to when signing on. That being said – you need to address payment concern escalations to DEREK ONLY from this point. He is the ONLY PERSON you need to reach out to. Our contacts at Work Market are being sent a copy of this email."

Now, several more months go by.  I call several more times the number he put in the work order notes as well as emailed him numberous times.  Finally I got a hold of him again after leaving a voice mail threatening to contact Packet TV (the End User he used me to do work for) as well as threaten a small claims suit, and he tried talking to me as if he was someone else...even using a false name.  I asked him his name several times throughout the conversation and he told me a different name variation twice!

It is clear this man is a deranged, unscrupulous, dishonest scam artist and should not be trusted.  None of the companies listed above you should ever want to do business with as a client, contractor, or otherwise.
