We have been to this hotel several times and have enjoyed the stay. Sure, everything was not perfect like then room had no A/C and the view sucked as well as the maids did a horrible job cleaning our room (We walked barefooted on the rug and our feet were black with dirt), The t.v. kept cutting off because no one cared to explain how it worked, the receptionist lied and told us there was no microwave on the premises; another receptionist let us use it to warm up leftovers, we were consistently not given adequate towels.  We were using a travel zoo voucher for four nights. We made a reservation before the expiration date but had to cancel because my husband had an emergency surgery. I called and asked if we could extend the expiration date and they agreed. When I made the reservation, I explained the circumstances and they agreed that we could use the vouchers with no extra charge. When we checked in they we aware of the situation, We received all the extras that came with the voucher. When we checked out, we were told no charges were due. Later that day we received 2 separate charges for 317.60 and 217.60. Speaking to the manager, he informed us that our voucher was expired and they were charging the normal rate minus the money we spent for the vouchers. I explained that we were rebooking after cancelling due to an emergency and was told they would still honor our vouchers for full value. He said he would check on it and call me back in ten minutes. An hour later, I called back and he told me he had no record of us given the promise to extend the expiration date and there was nothing they could do about it. He would give me no phone number to the general manger. Needlesstosay, I won't be returning to that place again.
