I'm not going to go into detail, b/c my story is just like everyone elses conned by these companies. I have contacted the FTC today at 1-877-382-4357 and they advised me that if they get enough complaints they will process there own investigation.

One thing I really don't get is how we all have had different payment amounts, mine is $125.99, plus applicable taxes= $134.98 and it lists Bond Corp 9th PPD,
which is ironic that they payment withdraws on the 9th of each month. Does anyone have that in common? Plus my lease was 4 years, where I see many people here with a 3 year lease.

Bottom line, A-1 Leasing claims to have paid out to Startup Essentials on my behalf a sum of $4600.00 and that's why my buy out options is $2781.00 per Steve Miel. At that time he could work a deal and have me sign another agreement to pay it off in 6 months at $416. per month. But, a week and a half earlier Lori, told me my buy out option was $1781.00. Steve had told me that Lori had never given me a buy out option. Which it's again ironic that I had 3 of the 4 numbers correct on the buy out.

I contacted Lori again, and reminded her of our conversation and advised her what she had told me when we spoke, she never denied saying it, but never acknowledged that she did. She just put me on hold after stating that she would talk to Steve and see what they can do, only to return to the phone, and give me the option of paying the $2781 in 12 payments and I can keep the cheap laptop. BIG DEAL! I advised her again, of how upset I was over this whole ordeal, and she just stayed quiet. She told me to call her back and she would get this new agreement out to me. I'm feeling very trapped like all of you. I have excellent credit and I would hate for this to distroy me if I decide to just default on payments.

Does anyone recall being told that A-1 Leasing was funding Startup Essentials UPFRONT?

Does anyone recall the 1st e-mail they received from Startup Essentials stating that you signed a Startup Essential Lease Agreement? B/c I do. Does anyone remember signing there name and initials so many times? My signature as well as my initials are exactly the same for all the entries? Are companies allowed to just copy and paste your signature all over their Soooo one sided documents? I just signed up as a member on the following yahoo group, hoping we can compare stories and information:

The name of the group is, Startup_A-1_Fraud. Hope to see you all there!!!

Oh and for all of you looking for Mr. Grossman's number, the attorney that is filling the civil suit against all of these companies is 214-657-8000. I have already added my name to the suit.
