I am writing in regards to the company, A and B Exteriors and the owner Adam Johnson, based out of Rockford, Illinois. Unfortunately, they did a job on my house and after making several large errors, I received very unprofessional, and plain rude customer service in response. After further investigation, I found the company does NOT HAVE THEIR ROOFING LICENSE (false advertising can be found on their website), has had several liens filed against them for not paying their own crews, has been involved in INSURANCE FRAUD, kept money from customers (such as myself), does not pull permits and does not have workmans compensation. A and B Exteriors is not only under qualified and UNINSURED but the owner, Adam Johnson, has a LONG LIST OF CRIMINAL HISTORY. Do the research yourself! Your complaint is very valid, and you included the guys name, which is great. However, the company you dealt with is NOT A&B Exteriors, LLC, it is A&B Exteriors Pros, LLC. They have convienantly left out the Pros part on their website and all their advertisements! A&B Exteriors, LLC is located out of Sandwich, IL, and we have never had a complaint. We are trying to get them shut down, or at least not able to use our name, so if you have any paper work of theirs, showing the name, please let me know so we can use it for litigation purposes.
