A Eastern Connection - Blue Knight Auto Withdrew $450.00 from my Parents Checking account without a contract to transport their vehicle. Bayville New York

A contract was signed by my parents in May 2008 to transport their vehicle (one way) from florida to Rhode Island with A Eastern Connection. From the very beginning there were problems.

They withdrew half the amount of the cost $430 on the date they said they would pick up the vehicle even though they did not pick up vehicle until 2 weeks after their promised date. A week later their vehicle still was not delivered and the balance of the funds had already been taken from their account.

When my 80 year old mother called to complain, the owner told her to stay out of his F#@*^% business or he would trop her vehicle off in New York, make some one come there to pick it up and charge her a $100 a day storage fee. Needless to say my mother's hands were tied so she terminated the phone call.

Three days later the vehicle did arrive but only after the car carrier was involved in an accident a 1/4 mile from our home. Their car was not damaged. After all this they had the nerve to call us about booking a return trip to Florida from Rhode Island in September 2008. We told them no thanks and we would never even think about using their Company again.

Well, that didn't stop them. My wife and I drove my parents car back to Florida ourselves in October only to find out that, Blue Knight Auto, formerly A Eastern Connection, withdrew $450 from my mothers checking account in November 2008 for a return Trip.

After numorus phone calls they said they sent out a check to retun the funds but as of this date, 2 1/2 months later my parents a still out $450. They are on a fixed income and we had to cancel their checking account and open a new one.
