This Company Hired me as an IT Consultant and Network Engineer.

I worked for 40+ hours for the first few months.  They tried to make me believe they had no money and were waiting for "Funding" on a big multi million dollar deal.  Strung me along for months and months with Hype and  Lies about Kevin Costner and Oprah, Richard Branson etc.

Eventually facing the reality of the world, I took work with a company called Front Gate through A Location Company.  A photo Shoot with a furniture company.  Very reluctantly I went to work, as a Slave basically, moving furniture for 12 hours a day.

after 48 hours of this slave labor, I realized It was a Scam.  I left the job site.  Informed the people at A Location Company that I was not able to do the Manual Labor job any longer. They told me maybe in 30 days I would be paid.  It has been over 30 days.

They will not respond to my phone calls, or my emails.  I am owed 3,740.00 in 1099 contractor wages from this company.  They ignore my attempts to collect and refer to my calls to their office as Harassment.

Original Title Post Overstates original Problem x100

AUTHOR: Chris - ()

My Original Post about this company includes a huge overstatement of the original problem.  I was angry for non payment.

My version of this interaction takes things to the letter of the law.  I did work for 40+ hours and was only paid $400.00, in two hundred cash payments.  That's equal to 10.00 per hour for 40 hours.  I was very angry about being treated with such low value by this client.  As I said I would like to Retract any harsh statements or judgements.  I Over Stated the Point x100

The CEO and Staff were professional at all times, and attempted to rectify the situation, the Money for work on the Set of the Furniture company photo shoot has been paid.

Thanks to the CEO over at IDB Media and a Location Company this matter was resolved with a formal apology from my company for any misunderstanding.

Absolutely False Rebuttal (also known as a lie)

AUTHOR: Chris - (USA)

This Company Absolutely Did   "HIRE" my Company.  Me.

To do IT Work.  The Work Was completed.  This individual  " CEO " of a company that employs no one, Hired me to Work, and Do a very Critical DATA Recovery Effort.  I billed this Company $3000.00  for services rendered.  The "CEO"  handed me 200.00 in cash to  " Help me out " , and apparently assumed the debt to be paid.  It was not and still has not been paid.  This company still owes me 2800.00  not calculating any interest or penalties for IGNORING THE INVOICE and LYING.

this Person has actually told this bullshit story so many times apparently he has no recollection of the Facts.  It does not surprise me in the slightest that this individual shows up and Rebuts with Paragraph after paragraph of information of a highly personal nature.  Which is completely and totally off topic and irrelevant, and never responds to the original complaint.

#3 REBUTTAL Owner of company

False claims

AUTHOR: Sjoko - (United States of America)

I would like to state the following in defense of the company:

1. We did not "hire" the person filing the complaint. We were in the process of starting the company and negotiating funding. Everyone involved with the company worked on spec, with the understanding that payment and a full time job would be forthcoming as soon as the new company secured funding. We all worked for nothing to make it happen.

2. When the funding process took longer than expected, we assisted the complainant by helping him find an office so he could start his own business (his wish). He paid the first month rent, we ended up paying the second month rent. After that he had to vacate the premises. We paid for his internet connection.
3. As the complainant had financial problems we offered him a job with our company's first paying client. This was assisting in furniture photo shoots. It was explained to the complainant that this was hard manual labor. Payment terms were also provided.

4. The complainant did not inform anyone that he was not able to do the manual labor job any longer. He got into an argument with one of our client's employees and walked of the job in the middle of a day. Despite this the complainant was paid for his work, at the same time everyone else, as per our contract with the client.

5. After the complainant walked of the job we received a barrage of abusive phone calls and emails from him. Harassment indeed.

6. We were aware that the complainant was having a difficult time in his personal life, we were lenient and tried to assist him in any way possible. We would have been fully prepared to defend any legitimate complaints through the appropriate legal channels. However, there was no legal claim to the complaint whatever.

In summary, we are a good company operated by honorable people, period.
