A Sun State Trees Dead Beats Lay Dead Sod!! Casselberry, Florida

On August 18, 2010 I hired "A Sun State Trees" to tear up my front lawn and lay 1800 sq. feet of Flortam sod. I called them about a month later because most of the sod started to die. A representative of the company came out to look at the lawn and said to wait about another month so the sod can "root in", after another 5 weeks I called them back because the sod was getting browner after a few more phone calls they finally sent out another representative to inspect the lawn. The representative agreed that the sod was dying off and said he would send a supervisor out to inspect my lawn.

After about a week of no call no shows I called them back, the staff was very friendly on the phone and assured me that they would send a representative out again. Still no call no show, After numerous phone calls from me and my daughter and no response I was left with a lawn that looked worse then when they initially came. I watered as often as possible, my water bill indicates that. But the sod still died. Perhaps if this company used the "manure" they gave me over the phone to fertilize my lawn with instead of blowing me off, I would have a lucious lawn!!! Instead I have dead sod that I paid almost $1000.00 for, and a water bill that was over another $1000.00 to keep the sod alive, and a pile of " free manure" handed to me over the phone!!! It has been about 3-4 months since I last spoke to somebody from this company, I am so frustrated and don't know what else to do except possibly seek legal counsel. I recommend that if you need lawn services done to use a company that is reliable...
