Purchased their 'Peace of Mind' extended warranty for 4 years or 48,000 miles in May of 2011. Had a covered failure in February, 2013 only to learn the the Policy Administrator's insurance company was seized and therefore no one was paying claims. I understand that AA Auto Protection is just a broker, but they're the ones that sold me the policy. Also, as the contract makes clear, the warranty is between me and 'Us', Us being defined as Protection Plus USA, Inc., Dublin, Ohio. So if their insurance company fails, seems like that doesn't let Protection Plus off the hook either. Just beware that when you buy one of these things, the person and company selling you the warranty are not responsible in any way and that you're really dealing with some unknown 'Adminstrator', and apparently their insurance company(s).

Insurance Company Liquidated

This customer purchased an Administration Plus USA contract through AA Auto Protection. Western Insurance was the insurance carrier on the contract. Western Insurance was liquidated by the Utah state Insurance Commission due to losses in the construction industry. This caused Administration Plus to cease operation.
