Me and my roommate hired AAA Moving and Storage to help with our move from a 1 bedroom basement apartment to a 2 bedroom apartment in the next town over (about 10 minutes away). The initial estimate was 3 movers for 3 hours at $319. When I called to verify our inventory the customer service woman, Preeta, added an hour just to be on the "safe side". The estimate was then $395 for 4 hours with 3 movers. The day of the move came and the movers show up in a Budget rental truck and 3 movers, the movers you could tell weren't professionals, mostly spoke Spanish, no uniforms, very unprofessional. The lead mover came in and took inventory, total of 60 items, went over the contract which took 20 minutes all the while I'm being charged. The mover didn't even get started until 30 minutes after they arrived due to their inability to park the truck and the contract business. When they were going to charge for furniture pads I told them that we were told the furniture pads were included, this was another 10 minutes wasted while I called the company and verified pads were included. . Once moving started the movers proceeded to wrap everything in the house, I had to run to Lowe's to get more tape and another box for the TV. I purchased 12 rolls of tape rather than using the tape they brought cause they charged $4.00 per roll. They used all the tape wrapping furniture pads around the furniture before removing it from the house. This took an excessive amount of time, as one guy was wrapping the other 2 were moving but then would come in and watch the guy wrap rather than help wrap other items. The movers also took alot of time coming back into the house. Once the truck was packed we saw the movers has scratched the hardwood floors. We had to call the company and tell them, this took another 15 minutes of wasted time arguing the company about damage to the floors.

Once we got to the new place the movers sat around while waiting for the contract to be signed because they wouldn't release the items until final payment was made before the move was complete. This process took another 20 minutes due to them saying it was going to take another hour on top of what was already quoted. I called the company to argue the point that the movers were wasting time and being very slow and inefficient. This got me no where but more wasted time I was being charged for. The lead guy then had to have a credit card so he could copy the numbers, call in the card, finish the contract... More time wasted. The other 2 movers were slowly bringing things inside. The lead mover was in his truck talking on the phone and not helping move the items into the apartment. As time went by I saw the 3rd mover 3 times in the apartment, the rest of the time he was in the truck folding blankets on my dime.

Once everything was unpacked and the movers gone we found damaged items and have taken inventory of everything that was damaged. Lots of scratched furniture, surprising being as how much tape and blankets were put on the furniture and how long they took wrapping the furniture. 

The customer service guy did nothing and wouldn't work with us about the price. This moving company is a complete ripoff and I suggest using another one no matter what the cost.
