Abby is a 23 year-old who has four daughters by three different men. She works full-time. My daughter was hired to sit for Abby's four children plus a little boy that she had cared for prior to her working outside of the home. Abby's oldest daughter is in school.
Abby Perdue owes my daughter $120.. for the three days of sitting my daughter did before she quit. She quit because Abby wanted way too much work for the buck. $200 per week for four children, clean the floors, frebreeze the mattresses, do the laundry, bath and wash the children's hair and prepare dinner, five days per week from 6am to 6pm.
Abby told us on a Sunday afternoon that she sent CASH in the mail to our address on a Saturday, it's now Tuesday and nothing, and she ignored all forms of communication. The post office is informed me that it should have reached our home Monday if in fact it had been pick up on Saturday.
She is a cheap skate, a liar and a thief. I had to block her and her boyfriend from contacting us through our wireless phone service....no calls, no texts, and no email will get through. Beware of working for this woman and her family as she does not pay enough for the amount of work that she wants. Abby lied about sending a payment and her word isn't worth a penny.

Since I posted the initial report, Ms. Abby Perdue, of Spring Hill, TN, has finally paid the $120 owed to my daughter in FULL via money order.
1. She phone Wednesday morning to tell me that she actually sent a money order, which she says is the same as cash. She claimed that she phoned the money order company, and she was informed that the money order had not been cashed, I was told that she would not send another until she was certain that we didn't already get the money order and just haven't cashed it yet.
2. I phoned the Spring Hill United States Post Office, the route carrier was informed of the situation and had confirmed that in fact there was no outgoing mail picked up from the Perdue / Boggs mail box, as Abby had claimed and I was also informed that sending cash in the US Mail was illegal.
3. After a few more words, Abby informed my daughter and I that she was sending a money order out that Wednesday, and it May take 2 to 3 days to arrived registered at our Columbia, TN home.
4. The money order for $120 arrived by carrier the very next morning less then 24 hours later.
5. We have been informed to not contact Abby Perdue ever again in the future.
The funny thing here is, we had to block 7 phone numbers via our wireless carrier service before she stopped contacting us.
We don't want anything to do with liars, and people that cheat others out of what they earned....my daughter worked 36 hours in 3 days watching 4 children and she deserved her pay. She accused my daughter of being a liar, I told Abby "IF YOU SPOT IT - YOU GOT IT" and she most certainly does. I personally was told several lies from this young woman. There's so much more, but I just can go telling everything now can I.
Miss Perdue, when she hired my daughter, had a criminal background check done on my daughter. She found nothing as my daughter has no record. I advised my daughter the next time she is thinking of working for another family.....GET REFERENCES FROM PREVIOUS SITTERS THAT HAVE WORKED FOR THAT FAMILY.
