Able Plumbing & Electrical are way too expensive, and a bunch of crooks. They are the only Plumbing and Electrical company in Butte County, Glenn County, Sutter County, Tehema County, and Yuba County, who charges for an estimate. All other companies give free estimates.

Electrical experience:

I had Able come out to fix two light fixtures. I was told that I would have to pay $49.00 for an estimate. When the guy arrived I was told I would have to pay another $250.00 for a diagnostic test just to find out the problem, then the cost to repair the problem. These guys are crooks.

Plumbing experience:

Able gave me an estimate for a plumbing problem, another $49.00 for an estimate. I called another company for a second opinion. The other company found an additional problem Able did not find or included in their estimate, and the other company fixed the original problem, plus the problem Able missed, for about half the cost Able wanted.
