Abn Amro Mortgage - Lasalle Bank ripoff Sunrise Florida

Recently we decided to refinance our second mortgage into a fixed rate and we decided to use abn mortgage because we had never had any problems with them. The promised us we would close in about three weeks. They sent out a drive by appraisel which of course it came in low so we requested a second appraisel and sent them the $350 over night they recieved it on a wednesday morning as of that following monday they still had not even scheduled a appraisel.

So once again we had to call them because they will not call you not even to return calls. We finally got it scheduled and got the results back and they were the exact same. Come to find out they had the same appraiser come and do our walk through. When you want a second opinion why would you go to the same person. And of course she came up with the same numbers. Why would she not when it was her reputation on line.

We have gotten opinons from some realtors and we knew she was off by 10,000-20,000. That's why we sent them the 350.00 but no way would we have if we would of known they were going to use the same lady.

Anyways we were now over 5 weeks in to this with no returned phones, no phones what so ever, a second opinion from the same person and our loan processor was on vacation for a week. So we stopped everything! We stoped payment on the check for 350.00, We canceled the loan process. I know that they will probably bill me for the 350.00 but that is so wrong I would have never sent it if I would have known they were going to use the same person.
