These folks approached us in May 2014 regarding a loan proposed for $20million on a longterm basis. To close the proposed loan, dhabigroup required a $64,000 due diligence fee in advance, using an escrow agent.  We explained we did not have that ability.

After several discussions they and their board agreed to do half the loan against half the fee.  We also elected our own escrow agent.  They agreed and stated upon confirmation of our wire transfer, they would fund the account with $10 million.

After sending $32,000 as agreed they changed the deal back to the $64,000 and did not fund as agreed after collecting the $32,000.  They broke the escrow and their written commitment agreement.   We then had several more discussions and writings which resulte in us canceling the transaction. 

It became obvious that they had no intention of fundingus and kept the due dilgence fee even though their contract says if they do not fund they will return the fee. 

Once again any one asking you for up front fees no matter how ligimate they may seem most likely is a scam as these people turned out to be.
