Academia School of Nursing Tia Vincent ,Ali Mohamed, Carol of Edgewood Manor- Staff Nurse Allowed Bullying, Intimidation, Non Consent to Touching Columbus Ohio

This school on a clinical site at Edgewood Manor allowed a staff nurse "Carol" to grab and snatch my arm when I went to get ice for a patient ( that was not mine but needed ice). This facility had a cooler full of ice in the hallway where you get ice and I took a cup, used the ice scooper to put ice in her cup and in doing so a staff nurse who is a personal friend of the Director at Academia (following the initial Director leaving during my course of studies). The clinical instructor notified all students that the staff nurse "Carol" was a personal friend of Tia Vincent and "Carol" has been seen bringing lunch to the school for the director on several occasions. Nonetheless, as I was placing the ice in the cup with the scooper, "Carol" grabbed and snatched my arm and yelled in my face ( in the presence of residents and other students) that I was contaminating the ice. As I had no idea what she was referring to I was shocked. I said, "Ok?!". I did not know using a ice scooper for ice was continuation. She was loud, irate, and unprofessional. This occurred at approximately 9am. I went on about the day and at approximately 3 pm Janet Neff clinical instructor came to me and said I needed to apologize to the lady "Carol", I didn't agree as I did nothing wrong. The instructor Janet Neff told me I would face failure of clinical and have eto make it up. I had and still have no clue what these people are talking about. How did getting ice for a patient turn into this? I was assaulted that nurse had no right to touch me period.

The school representative Janet Neff did nothing at was not present when the lady grabbed me, the nurse "Carol" complained to her and Janet Neff approached me at 3pm vs right when this occurred. I was threatened with being dismissed from the program as an unscheduled meeting where I had no opportunity to have a non biased representative present was on April 27,2018 with Ali Mohammed and Tia Vincent each attacked me with falsehoods and unsubstantiated information. Each claimed an investigation had been done and I was presented with a paper to sign outlining an abundance of allegations that cannot be validated because they are untrue. There is no grievance process at this school, there is no due process, there is no advocacy. I asked for a copy of the document to look over and was told they only had one copy? I refused to sign it as it was encompassed with lies. I took a picture of the document and it is quite ridiculous. If getting ice for a patient is "contamination of the water system" the facility has way bigger problems. Is the cooler full of ice their water system? Wow!

The document stated a staff nurse corrected me which is unacceptable in the first place as staff nurses are not clinical instructor s from the school, staff having issue with students need to place an incident report, notify the DON, and clincal instructor not grab and snatch students arms and yell in their face with other students to witness it. This school staff has been to taget me for an unknown reason and I don't feel safe there. I have 2 weeks left to graduate after paying 5,000 out of pocket to this school no financial aid. I need them to leave me alone. Our last clinical rotation is at at daycare center owned by Ali Mohamed and we are doing vitals there as a clinical Pediatric rotation l, what nursing school does that? This school is corrupt! I have filed many complaint s because now I feel retaliated against as after notice that I would file complaint s the school had a teacher tell me Ali wanted to see me over at his daycare center for a meeting but it was a ambush of intimidation about the clincial experience. I asked for a copy of the initial incident report files with the facility if I was contaminating anything or acting inappropriate ( it has not been given because it doesn't exist). I asked for a copy of investigation report Ali Mohamed said he completed and have not received ( because it doesn't exist). No one asked me my side, no one interviewed my witnesses which are still available for comment. I am attempting to get my edcatioanl endeavor completed and am being harrassed. No one should attend this school, I was grabbed, snatched, bullied, intimidated, and subjected to a hostile environment with no support or advocacy from Academia School of Nursing.

The Nursing Board has been notified as well as this should never happen to another student. I have documentation if needed of email transmittalsvto Ali Mohamed and all involved as well as the school course of action letter against me determined without me having ample time to seek representation of a non biased party to participate in the unscheduled meeting. This entity will bully you and the create deliberately false claims if you advocate for yourself, NEVER patronize this private school. There is a reason why it does not have Federal funding for aid, perhaps not wanting to follow guidelines? Perhaps corruption? I want left alone is all, I am a great student and am Bachelor's prepared from Ohio State University, actually I merely back tracked to get a nursing license for personal satisfaction. I am no dummy.
