A friend of mine ordered the free trial of the acai berry pills. The next morning, she received an email that she had successfully been enrolled in FitFactory, and that she was going to be charged $29.99 for the service, then a monthly fee. She checked her bank account, and also had a $12 for ReservationRewards, along with the other charges being processed through.
Luckily, she was able to talk to her bank, and they can file a Fraud Complaint. She called the companies, and they are claiming that she agreed to enroll when she accepted the free trial. Nowhere in their documentation does it say anything about ReservationRewards, and the fine print on their site takes advantage of the fact that very few people read the entire Terms and Conditions prior to placing their order. They also hide the fact that they'll send you a new bottle shortly after the free trial, and charge you $90 every 30 days.
Bottom line, this place is skating a very thin line with regard to legality. If the money isn't refunded, the bank can file the Fraud Complaint and get it refunded, but it's a HUGE hassle for a 14 day trial.
