The hospitality industry has a tool that some hotel/motel managers use to rightfully keep felons & tortfeasors at bay.
Seaside, Oregon, Motel 6 owner/manager, Lee Judson, applied it to my disabled, senior citizen wife and me in retaliation because I called corporate and simply asked if I couldn't get a discount because I was assigned a substandard room.
Franchisee, John Wolf, will not intercede on our behalf even tho' we've stayed there for over a decade with no problems watsoever.
Motel 6 corporate, Accor North America, COO Georges LeMener, says occasionally they are unable to resolve a situation as a customer would like...and this appears to be one of those instances.
Well, I think it's outrageous abuse of authority on Judson's part, spineless mismanagement on Accor's part and since Wolf & Judson are related, their response would be expected.
And us? Our character is being defamed all over the place as Judson threatens to inform others in the hospitality industry of - whatever.

Just do a search "colbeth motel 8" on google and you'll see all the stuff he posted all over the place.
A search on ROR for "motel 6" will also bring up more of his stuff.
It's not just this ONE posting of his that was "a problem" it's the SUM of everything he's posted for over a year.

I wasn't able to figure out what you were talking about. some sort of rambling, incoherent statement about Motel 6.
As a reasonable and prudent person who also happens to be studying law, I don't find ANY defamtory statements against Motel 6 here because I could not understand whatever it was this person was even trying to write!
I like Motel 6 personally. It is a nice, clean, economical place to stay. At least, it always where my family liked to stay when we were on vacation when I was a kid and they are STILL great places to stay.
I have no idea what this rant was all about except I did understand taht Motel 6 was somehow involved and I can tell their legal counsel to stand down because if I can not decipher whatever it was this posting was supposed to be about, neither can another person of reasonable and prudent disposition and an average IQ.
And I will CONTINUE to enjoy my out of town stays at Motel 6 -- or at least in places where they can be found!
