I made a report a few days ago about accountgear.com. Immediately after i made the report , " legal" called me/ sent me an email saying that I was not allowed to post on this site because it violated an agreement of some sort. Surprisingly, the guy from " legal" that called me is from Florida, and has a caller Id of " gametag" . Which is strange. So i emailed legal and the guy said i have to hand over my user ID and password for this site.. So i went along with it and as soon as i did. I got an email from " accounts" with the user ID and password for my LOTRO account.

I logged on, surprise surprise a level 1 character. Sounds familiar to another person that got the same scam. So i sent an email and they said " did you check all the servers", I said " no, and it isn't my job to do that, this should have been done before the account was sold".  So accoutngear logs on and searches the servers to " verify", they did and said they were sorry and that it was a bad account,..... not even sure what the guy meant by that. Apparently , by this logic, accountgear doesn't check the accounts they buy... lool. More scam mentality. They offered 100$ coupon , LOL, and said i could exchange my 350$ account for a 450$ account which i did, farther down the rabbit hole. I also paid an extra 34 dollars to get a 483$ account. They said the account was ready and legit before i ordered.

The details were sent fast, and surprise wrong USER ID and Password..They then said that they will get me to " click forget password" so it would register my ID ( LOL , more scam talk/ runaround), the email from turbine for forgotten password was forwarded to one of their other email accounts. They then forwarded this email to me and got me to change the password in the link...Really sketchy tactics. Did this multiple times and the password wasn't working.

So i said, " Just give me the actual pass word andID" or change the information on the account o it's under my email" . They said they could not " login" and " Turbine must be updating the system" . Meanwhile i was able to login on my alt LOTRO account. 

At this point i got angry and said I am done with their games and going to pursue alternative methods for getting my money back. They refunded the 34$ from paypal, but have not settled the original 350$ that i paid. I have sent numerous emails requesting they cancel this order with no reply. This is clearly fraud/ scam. They insist why would we give you your 34$ from paypal back if we were scammers"? Well the initial and majority of the payment of 350$ is still " pending".

I am not really sure what their next move is but have notified them that i am not playing their games anymore and that if the order is not canceled/settled then I will be filing a complaint with the FBI IC3 department, BBB, disputing the money taken out with VISA, as soon as the money goes from pending to fully gone from my account, filing a police report for internet fraud, and possibly contacting a lawyer. 

I am not concerned with spending extra money at this point to do what i can to take this fraudulent and scamming company down. 

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING OR ASSOCIATE WITH THESE PEOPLE.
