This company (LLC), and this individual (Mr. Jeffrey Allinson) is a complete ripoff. The individual is also a liar and a fake artist. He says that he runs a jewelry appraisal company and that he is accredited and independent. But he seems to be as 'fake', as the profession that he represents. The industry of 'Jewelry Appraisal' is so unregulated that you should not take this man's word for anything. He will tell you one thing, and write up an appraisal report that is totally the opposite that he said that he will give you in writing. Completely fake person and industry. Do not deal with this individual or else you will waste your time and money. Buyer beware. This man is also expensive and far to drive to. He claims to be too busy, and have an office in the exclusive area of Mclean VA, but it turns out to be a tube room inside a Jewelry store. You will be ripped off, and he will look into your eyes and lie to you. He will tell you one thing and write up an appraisal report which is completely the opposite. He will also tell you that he is catering to you (his customer), but at the back end is catering to his own interests.
