I too, fell victim to this scam. I don't know how they sleep at night. Like our friend in NY, I did not pay some bills in order to send the $260 fee. I got the mail from Ray:
From: "Ray Scott"
To: "Edward"
Subject: Loan Processing
Date: Tue, 13 Sep 2005 10:55:04 -0700
Edward,
Your loan documents have been received and are being processed. You should be receiving a tracking number tomorrow which would be Sept. 14. Thanks for your patience.

that's the last email I received from them. I have sent over 100 emails and have left countless messages. Amazing that when I mentioned to them that I was considering legal action, I still did not receive a response. I am going to explore all avenues that I can so we can hit these guys where it hurts.
