Everybody knows that moving is not easy, between your mails, car, your family, packing... you try to anticipate every moves and, you think that Across America moving and storage with help you with the big part, which is moving your stuff.

Because, it's the first time you move and they seem to be friendly on the phone you will think that you have picked the right mover company above the others. They will make you feel like you are in good hands but... they are liar, this is just the beginning of YOUR NIGHTMARE.

We had one bedroom apartment to move fron San Diego to San Francisco and from the beginning to the end it was an horrible experience.
They will stress you out and make you cry.

The stupid lady, Kamelyia, on the phone will tell you things that is totally different from what it is, like she will estimate, from the list of items you will tell her, a price in my case 3000 lbs @ $.40 total $1200 which seems to be a good deal from San Diego to San Francisco. We went through so much and to make this long story short, RECORD EVERY VERBAL EXCHANGE, they are big liar.

After loading our stuff to the truck Sean, the lead, estimate from his experience that we have 4250 lbs. I ensure you that nothing more was added to the list I gave to Kamelyia and don't know how she calculate the weight (she was probably thinking at that time that my items are in plastic material) plus we paid $800 for packing our furniture but was told not to do so cause the movers will take care of that and it is part of the deal.

We ended to pay $1500 which was 60% of the job. They told us to pay them after loading everything and ready when the truck is ready to go, we were trap.

Kamelyia told me also to communicate the address when arrive in San Francisco and where ever the apartment is going to be in the building the delivery and assemble is included.

We paid $1000 which was 40% + $150 for the delivery of our items from the truck to our 3rd floor apartment. This stupid driver Peter probably thinks that he could park he truck to my living room and unload from there.
The building has 2 bigs elevators. The truck was located at 30 feet from the elevators and on the 3 floor the elevators are facing the apartment.

Anyway they ask us to PAY THEM IN ADVANCE.

After they done the job and discover the glass table is broken they told us to take pictures, call the 1-866-668-3480 and deal with the company.

Also at the end they don't even care to take the empty boxes with them or to the bin which is at just 50 feet from their truck.

The estimation was $1200 and we ended to pay them $2650, you do the math.

All this is pissing me off and I wish I have never known this company and all of the employees I talked to.

It is not like we don't want to pay, but this company is DISHONEST, there are lots of HIDDEN FEES, we feel like we have been ripped off in so many ways.

I don't believe that this company still exist and that kind of business is allowed.

Consumer BEWARE.

I already feel sorry for the next one.
